Iris woke expecting to hear Casey snoring and see his cute sleeping face. But she was surrounded by warmth and cocooned in powerful arms and legs wrapped around her. She smiled cheerfully Lucian was like an octopus when he slept, he would always cuddle and surround her body, not letting go. She moved closer and inhaled his heavenly soothing scent that was unique to her mate.

With her small movements, Lucian woke. He had a few hours of sleep but he was overjoyed to wake with her in his arms once again. This feeling was the bliss his heart needed and body craved.
