Chapitre 959: 959. Intelligent Race

Kroll had worked hard to learn to read, write, and speak properly. Thanks to the forest eves he had learned very efficiently and with great speed. Not only did he and Ventus put all of their effort in to tasks like this, they never stopped. They spent three days alone awake so that they could begin to understand the basics of reading. 

Ventur had specifically watched how quills worked and learned to use his clawed leg to sign and write. From what anyone knew, he was the only grey haired spider that could even understand letters let alone read and write. Kroll was just as much of a shock because he was able to write his name in a decently legible fashion.
