Far from suspecting what the gods were up to behind their backs, the Grand Masters prepared with a certain joy the ball tonight. There were only small things left to do but they wanted everything to be perfect. Their guests of honour were divine, they had to organize the most sumptuous and the most unforgettable of balls. While some were busy making sure to choose the best champagnes and the best vintages, Le Grand Maître Louis and his twin took pleasure in tasting every little candy that was presented to them. "These are fine, stay on the mousse. Not choux pastry," he gave his final decision while looking at the eight pastry chefs in front of him.

"Sure of your choice my brother? You can't change your mind at the last moment," his twin asked, surprised at the choice as his little brother loved choux pastry.

"Certain."

"No choux pasta?"

"No choux pastry."
