Chapitre 23: Chapter 22

Zander's POV

I woke up the next morning and got ready for my meeting after we grabbed coffee in the kitchen like normal, then we went out to the limo.

I miss Ezra already and she just left this morning; I hope she comes back tonight, but I know she had some family business, even though she didn't look happy about it.

We appeared at the meeting and the limo took off. Some guards were already there waiting for us, as two followed me inside.

The meeting droned on and on and I couldn't stop thinking about how Ezra said she would be mine, those lips that were slightly swollen after our kiss and the laughter, oh how sweet it sounded.

After a few hours, Zack and I went to grab lunch, it was weird with Zack tasting my food first; I laughed when he scrunched up his nose at my pasta.

"Dude, I don't know how she does it without complaining but... This has mushrooms in it, yuck" and I laughed harder.
