Chapitre 20: Chapter 19

Katherina Blackwood's POV

Luca kept me caged in his mansion and tightened the security since the night of Alberto's party. He downright refused to even let me wander outside for a long time. Apparently, whoever ruined the party that night was not Chris's doing, and Luca's yet to find out who's behind all these attacks from past months. He's convinced it must be from his rival gangs, who are cowards to show their face, but I don't really know my facts since they don't talk business in front of me.

With Becky around often, I tried several times to get my hands on her phone to contact Chris but she wouldn't take it out of her damn pocket. Time is running out and I need to warn Chris and ask him to just leave before things turn an ugly turn. I don't know when what's going to happen and every second Chris being in this city might turn out to be dangerous.
