Eva's POV....

“You still haven't explained to us about what happened.” Mom said. Even though she didn't clearly say what she was implying, I understood it was about Dylan's death. I ignored her and proceeded to munch on my breakfast. I heard her sigh audibly.

I narrowed my eyes bleakly at my dad, and he was not even paying any attention. I rolled my eyes. He is never home and when he was, he doesn't seem to care about anything but work. I felt bad for my mom.

Suddenly, I hoisted my head up from my food.

“Dad, can I alter schools?”

“Hm.” He countered, not procuring a word I said.

“John!” Mom shouted, making him jump. She signaled her head towards me with her eyes fixed on him.

“What is wrong sweetie?” He put his phone on the table. I blew deeply.

“I want a change of schools.” I recounted.

“But Why??”

“I just want to change schools, do I have to come up with a reason!” I yelled, getting disgruntled at nobody.
