The other serpent head had brought the werewolf back into the museum by this time. The one that was shot lost a third of its mass and was no longer able to bite Zheng. About seven seconds later, another shot crushed the remaining head into dust, this time there was no force field to block anymore.
"Seven seconds… takes seven seconds to reload. Manavia I want you to cast a curse on the sniper."
"Leader this will be the last of the items we gained in the last movie, we already used the Bargain for Charcoal since he only had a broken neck back then, and the silver piece of 8, we used to buy off the negative 1 point in our score."
"Which leaves us, the voodoo doll from Tia Dalma..."
The previous movie Team India entered was Pirates of the Caribbean, where in they've met with another team, and learned of the items God puts into the movie world that have certain effects.
Such item was The Bargain, in which Captain Barbosa was brought back from the dead by Tia Dalma, in the movie. But with the condition of having an intack heart, and brain they could not bring back Lamu as his heart was melted by the lightsaber.
The price for The Bargain differs depending on the weight of ones soul, it may ask for live sacrifices, or a task in return. Which the one brought back will have to pay.
Second of such item is the Silver Piece of 8, each 9 pieces of 8 was made of silver, and had worth of eight reales. During the Third Brethren Court, a pirate thief named Tartaglia attempted to use one, as a false piece of eight to fool the assembled pirate Lords into thinking he was one of them.
Team India was able to obtain their piece in a execution ground, after a child was hanged. Giving its effect of buying a deffecit point against the team in a team battle.
The last is the Voodoo Doll made from the roots of a tree that grows in the island of cannibals. which has the effect of very slowly, causing the target's blood to dry up...
the only indecation you were afflicted by such curse are the root like patterns that starts at ones chest, that then spreads towards ones body. When the body is fully engulfed by the roots the person will die.
But such item has very stricked conditions to use, for a person to receive the curse that person must first had in flicted damage on someone.
And the user could then use that someone as a target to cast the curse on the individual as a form of retaliation.
"Yes, Manavia do as I say now!"
Manavia took out the voodoo doll, held it in front of her with both hands, and started chanting in an unknown language. When the doll began to emit smoke she nodded towards Shiva.
"Shainaia, enter my mind, and share vision with Manavia… Remember you only have seven seconds to release the curse. If you fail, then the sniper can wipe us all. Our lives are in your hands!" The monk looked at the now glowing voodoo doll in Manavia's grasp.
And, run out side to locate the sniper, true to the count at seven seconds. A gauss bullet sped thru the air, and struck Shiva. But due to him entering the unlocked mode he was able to tilt his body to the side, which only allowed the bullet to take his left arm.
Shiva then ran back towards the museum, and Manavia pressed the voodoo doll on Shiva's wound effectively activating the curse.
When the doll ceased to release smoke, it unmade it self, and the roots sank into the ground.
Manavia, looked at Shiva and said, " It's done." Shiva only nodded.
[Scene Break]
Mean while after O'Connell met up with Kris, Evelyn, and Jonathan, He told them to follow him as he knows a shortcut out of the city.
Everyone followed him as they went through house after house crossing a significant distance.
While Zheng was delayed since he had to apply first aid on Yinkong. But as he finished bandaging her wound. He saw that Heng was passed out.
After checking for injuries, he found a fang had lodge it self on Heng's leg.
Not thinking much he removed the fang, and applied some hemostatic spray on the wound.
Zheng carried Yinkong, and Heng quietly as he followrd the groups trail when they went through several civilian houses.
Soon afterward, He saw O'Connell and the others waiting in a small empty area.
They ran up to Zheng immediately, and began asking questions but Zheng yelled, "Don't stop! O'Connell, lead the way! Hurry, we are still in danger! Right behind us… there's still something following right behind us!"
The rest didn't have time to ask more as they run, Zheng caught up with Zero, and Jie.
Jie visibly was exhausted for some reason...
Unknown to the group, when Shainaia was performing a psyche scan. She felt that their was some sort of blip in her range, mostly due to curiosity she tried to probe more on this anomaly.
With her strong psyche powers Jie was like a small boat in the middle of a storm.
Only later did she give up on this unknown, due to Arot being shot by the sniper.
But, this only gave Jie a small reprieve, as an overwhelming presence locked unto their location when Manavia released the curse.
Using every ounce of power he had, he tried to obscure the groups location due to fear, thus almost wringing him dry of energy.

"Leader, I have lost track of them, it would seem that their was indeed a psyche force user on their team."
"I tried to probe an anomaly I found before Arot was shot but, it kept slipping off my grasp." said Shainaia
"No matter, all we need to do is wait. With that said we have a Mummy to talk to..."
