AT THE BLOSSOM'S MANSION

Jazz kept screaming and breaking anything she laid her hands on as soon as she got home.
"What in heaven's name is wrong with you,Jazz!?" Her mother, Katrine, screamed at her when she saw what was happening. " What is up with you lately?! You got home yesterday drenched in water when it wasn't even raining, then you locked yourself up in your room, and you didn't even have dinner. You left this morning all moody, and now you came back home and start turning my house upside down!"
"Argh!" Jazz grunted with anger, rolling her eyes at her mother.
"Young lady! I am your mother! If you have a problem then let me know and I'll fix it, but this behavior will not be accepted in this house!"
Katrine was taken aback when Jazz starts to sob. She walked over to her and hugged her.
"What's wrong?"
Before Jazz could answer, someone else walked in. "What's wrong? Look at her. She probably shamelessly tried to throw herself at Jordan again."
Katrine looks up to see Jane, Jazz's twin sister. Jane laughs as she watches her sister cry.
"Jane? When did you get back from your trip?" Katrine asks.
Even though the two were twins, there were some significant differences in their appearances. Jane had long, brown, straight hair. There was a scar on her forehead, given to her by Jazz when they were children.
Jazz, however, had short, curly, black hair just like Katrine.
"We got back a few hours ago." she said.
"We? Dad is also back?" Jazz had calmed down enough to talk. However, talking about her father made her voice tremble.
"Yes, he went out for a little errand but he will be home soon."
Katrine turned her attention back to her other daughter. "Jazz? What happened? Is it Jordan again?"
"Kinda. But mostly because of this new girl at school."
"Wait a minute." Jane stopped her. "So you're saying you've been all pouty because of some new girl? Ha! Out of anyone, who woulda thought a new girl would be the one to finally bring down the 'big and mean' Jazz?" Jane found the thought of it hilarious since her sister always tried to act mean and tough.
"Would you shut the hell up, Jane?" Katrine got angry at her. "Can't you see how upset she is? Unless you have something nice to say, knock it off and keep that mouth of yours shut!"
Once again, someone else entered the room unexpectedly. This time, it was their father, Luis.
"Why should she, Katrine? Jane has every right to say whatever she wants in this house. And do you know how many kids your precious daughter has hurt? Really, it's only fair that karma has come back to bite."
"See? Thanks, dad." Jane said with a smile.
Luis, without another word, walked up the staircase straight to his room and shut the door behind him.
"Don't mind your dad, Jazz." Katrine said as she turned back to Jazz holding her in her arms as she cried. "Tell me dear, what happened?"
Jazz told Katrine what has been happening since Kylee's arrival, how Kylee embarrassed her in front of the whole class on the first day of her arrival and how she has been flirting with Jordan ever since. "The worst part of it, mom, is that her family seems to be richer than ours. She acts so snobby!"
"Why do you think that Jazz? You know the Blossom's happen to be the richest family in Northwell." Katrine replied.
"Because I checked out the outfit she had on yesterday and it's not even in the market yet.
It was made just for her. Mom- to get a designer outfit just for you cost more than half a million dollars. That's more than my pocket money for four months."
"Jazz? No daughter of Katrine Dalvalya will be bullied by anyone, so get your act together and show that little swine who the boss is. And for your outfits, I can only give you 2 million to change your wardrobe, but nothing more than that."
"But mom…"
"But nothing Jazz, that's all we can afford for now." Katrine said.
"I hate you Kylee Westen! I hate you" Jazz screamed out in frustration.
"Wait, what did you just say?" Jane asked, looking shocked. "What did you say her name was?"
"Kylee westen." Jazz said, looking nauseous when she said her name.
"What is wrong Jane? You look like you just saw a ghost. Do you know her?" Katrine asked.
Jane burst into an uncontrollable laugh. "Who would have ever imagined that after you bullied and tormented her, her daughter will end up making your daughter's life a nightmare. As they say, karma is a bitch."
"What in heaven's name are you talking about, Jane? Who is her mom?" Katrine asked as she got up from her seat.
"I've heard of that Kylee girl before. Her mother's name is Elvira Dalvalya- you're half sister."
Katrine was surprised. "How do you know about Elvira? And are sure that's her daughter?"
"Well, mom, I actually love our family and talk to them now and again. Aunt Elvira is married to Jerry Westen and they have three kids now; two boys named Jeremy and Travis, and a girl named Kylee." Jane said. "I know more about this family than you do. Isn't that sad? I even know how you and dad ended up married."
Katrine, who had always noticed the hatred for her in her daughter's eyes, slightly knew why now. "Did your father-? And you believe him?" Katrine scoffed, but, deep down, she was upset that her daughter had believed her father so easily.
"Yeah, I do. You know why? Because I don't want to hear your bullshit lies anymore. Do you know how shameful it is to be your daughter?"
Katrine looked at her daughter, hurt. But she didn't know what to even say.
"Oh, and Jazz," Jane said. "Make sure you stay away from Kylee. She's not someone you want to mess with. Her mother may be nice and sweet, but not her kid."
Jazz who has only been listening all this time tried to process everything. Finally, she found her voice to speak. "Wait? So what you are trying to say is that Kylee's our cousin?"
"Yeah, she is. Now if you both will excuse me I have other things to do." Jane walked out of the room, leaving them both in a completely shocked state.
