Once my bed was in position and I was hooked up to all of the monitors, again, the nurse left the area so that it was just Reece and I alone for the time being. I knew that nurses would be back to see us and check on me frequently. Not only was I a queen and there were people that were from my kingdom here, but I had just delivered quadruplets. I knew that everyone in the hospital was going to be so excited to see the babies and see how I, the mom that held them in until they were full term, was doing.

If I had thought that people were going to think that the babies were unique before, then I was in for a shock soon. I knew that they were going to be even more of an oddity now that there were four of them instead of three. At least I knew that they were all going to be healthy. They had stayed in as long as I could make them. And that was definitely saying something.
