Tang Ming quickly caught up with Liu Erlong as they both arrived at the forest after just a few minutes.
Tang Ming seeing Liu Erlong stop also put some distance between the two as they faced each other. The former with some slight anger and annoyance and the latter with an smile while both his eyes were closed with both his hands behind his back.
It has became a habit of his to not open his eyes normally while smiling or chatting with someone but now it's strictly because he wanted to concentrate on developing his Divine Sense as much and best as he can.
"Tang Ming, I've been hearing a lot of praise of you from Xiao Gang. Let me see what's so special about you."
"Miss Erlong, are you sure about this?"
Tang Ming playful attitude disappeared as it slowly changed to a serious one as he looked at her with one of his eyes opened.
"What? You scared already, it looks you're all talk.." Liu Erlong said with a mocking expression.
An invisible pressure immediately blasted out from Tang Ming towards Liu Erlong. It was an involuntary action because one of the things that irks him most is someone looking down on him.
"Then I won't be polite. As a true advocate of gender equality, don't expect any mercy just because you're a women."
'Glad she don't know anything about me sparing Qian Renxue just because she was beautiful.'
Tang Ming inner monologued as he slowly retrieved his spear from his back. His aura instantly changing from laid back to penetratingly sharp the moment his spear appeared on his hands.
Liu Erlong who was just now mocking Tang Ming also had a serious expression on her face as the aura emitting from Tang Ming made her know that she wasn't facing anyone easy.
But she was also a hot headed woman. She grinned and immediately released her martial spirit, Fire Dragon, a variant of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon and spirit rings started floating up from her feet. Yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black and black.

After flying back for a few moments, Liu Erlong immediately dragged her foot in the ground to stop herself. She was on one knees as a little blood trickled down from the side of her mouth which she wiped with the back of her hand.
"You...will pay for that!"
Liu Erlong growled as she immediately shouted.
" Fire Dragon Possession!"
After which a purple ring immediately rose up from her feet as she once again shouted.
"Third Spirit Ring [ Fire Dragon's Breath]!"
She opened her mouth as she breathed out an extremely terrifying breath of high temperature flames toward him which he immediately blocked with his spear, spinning it in a circle. All the tree around him started buring while the ground looked like it has been melted.
After a while Liu Erlong stopped breathing fire, but immediately dodged to the left as a flying slash immediately flew past her. The area she was standing previously at cut cleanly as a deep ravine of 10m long can be seen.
She looked up at Tang Ming only to see him standing there perfectly with his spear outstretched.
"Is that all, Miss Erlong?"
"Don't get cocky brat! I'll beat your smug face into the mud." Liu Erlong gritted her teeth in anger.
As she once again immediately dashed toward Tang Ming with increased speed after martial spirit possession.
"Take this!"
A yellow ring once again rose up from his feet as she shouted.
"Fire Dragon Five Strike!"
As she launched give rapid claws attack at him which he narrowly avoided. The attack landing on the ground with a loud impact flattening it.
Tang Ming with his Divine Sense continued to dodge or parry her attacks as he continued to launch attack after attacks.
"Miss Erlong, are you looking down on me."
Tang Ming said while dodging as he immediately flickered quite a distance away from her before saying lightly.
"It's my turn now."
Immediately after he sweeped his spear horizontally as a 10m long crescent slash of spirit energy was sent toward her with extremely high speed.
She immediately moved at high speed to jump in the air as the slash continued onward for another 100m cutting everything in two in its path. She looked at this attack with shock as this attack was more than two times the powerful of his previous one.
'Was he looking down at her previously? This brat.. I'll make him pay!'
She looked back at him furiously only to see a yellow ring rising up from his feet as he looked at her with amusement before saying,
"Be careful, Miss Erlong, this will hurt quite a bit."
He instantly thrusted his spear toward her while shouting.
"First Spirit Ring [Thunderstorm Spear Strike].
"...."
"...."
'Did he just say first spirit ring ability? Breathe in, breathe out! Calm down!'
Nothing happened for a moment before more than tens of lightning spear appeared out of nowhere around him and were launched toward her with lightning speed as she was caught off guard and immediately used her one and only defensive spirit ring ability without waiting for a second.
A black ring flashed as she too shouted.
"Fifth Spirit Ring [Fire Dragon's Shield....]!"
A fiery dome appeared midair surrounding her protecting her just as the spear were about to hit her.
The lightning spear striked at the Shield as it shook considerably and produced quite a bit of crack but didn't manage to destroy it completely.
But before Liu Erlong even had a chance to breathe, she saw Tang Ming crouching and then lunging toward her with his left hand stretched backward while holding spear.
His jump made a parabola in the sky as he swiped downward with his spear hitting Liu Erlong shield with quite a bit of his raw strength let's say 20%.
'Cachak!'
The shield around her immediately shattered into pieces. Liu Erlong eyes widened in shock as she tried to cross her hands in front of her in order to defend but the spear was faster and landed on one of her shoulder blasting her toward ground as she was launched like an arrow from a bowstring, a visible shockwave appearing in the air.
'BooM!'
The ground shook as if an earthquake had happened stirring lots of dust in the air.
After the dust settles down, a huge crater can be seen where Liu Erlong landed. She stood up with difficulty before she grunted in pain and coughed a mouthful of blood while kneeling on one knee.
Tang Ming still in midair upon one of his lightning spear looked at her state and immediately became concerned. He might just have used a little bit too much of his strength in that strike.
'Note to self, use less physical strength. Obviously nobody can compare to my fabulous, out of world physical strength. Um, i need to reign in my strength more. Looks like this is as far as she can go, unless...'
Tang Ming also landed at the ground as he dashed toward her immediately seeing her coughing blood continuosly, arriving just at the moment as she was about to fall ahead.
He appeared beside her immediately and held her in his arms before sighing. Liu Erlong also was surprised but didn't say anything as she was in a very bad condition right now. She had suffered many internal injuries while it looks like her left shoulder bones shattered. Many Of the bones in her body like upper ribcage and arms were also broken from the impact, she isn't even able to stand up as she was left momentarily paralysed.
The injury was quite severe. Even Tang Ming didn't think it would be this bad.
"I'm sorry about that. I didn't think you wouldn't be able to handle even that much of my strength."
Tang Ming said genuinely with a bit of guilt and concern but that only earned him a death glare.
"Is saying..cough...cough...less will hurt you, you brat!hmph!..cough..."
"Ahem..Miss Erlong, please take this medicine before your condition worsen."
Seeing what he was saying was making her more angry, he hurriedly opened a healing potion before slowly putting it toward her full cherry lips, which she begrudgingly drank and kept her eyes closed circulating her spirit energy in order to heal faster.
She felt a warm feeling in her body as the healing potion instantly showed it's result as the injuries started healing and fading away. There were some grunts of pain from her but it went away as the bones reconstructed themselves with the aid of the healing wine.
All of her injuries were healed just in a few minutes as she slowly opened her eyes before breathing out only to see Tang Ming's eyes looking at her with concern.
She was momentarily mesmerized with his face as her expression became somewhat soft before coming back to her senses and glaring at him, she also tried to get away from him but was unable to do so as he was holding her quite tight.
"How long do you think you're gonna hold me. I'm already healed. Let go of me."
Tang Ming immediately let her go. She jumped up from his embrace and stood up before turning around and giving him a stink eye. Her clothes were quite tattered by now, revealing a lot of her milky white skin.
"Boy, this isn't over yet. You took me by surprise this time. Next time, I'll definitely defeat you. Hmph!"
Liu Erlong looked at Tang Ming with a frosty expression before bolting out of the forest.
Tang Ming shrugged at this but didn't follow her. He knew he just took slight advantage of Liu Erlong but he can't help himself.
