Two weeks later…
It is sunday. I was standing at the west gate of the city and watched as my uncle load his stuff onto a wagon. Despite how much I hate him, I came to wish him off since he is still family.
My uncle was having trouble with his last bag and I shook my head watching him struggle.
I walked over and helped him. He looked at me and smiled. I just looked at him and turned away.
As my uncle hopped onto the wagon, he looked at me and spoke.
"Want to come? You can come live with me in Lusitania if you want. If not, then I'll leave you be."
"Go with you? Just get out of here already. I came just to see you leave."
My uncle sighed and shook his head. He would reach into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. He tosses it at me and I caught it.
"What is this?" I asked looking at the piece of paper.
"I've given you information on the centipede that was dwelling inside you. I'm surprised you even managed to retain your humanity. Though I'm already guessing it's because of her, isn't it?"
"…"
"Of course, I guessed so."
He still even bothers to annoy me. Isn't he supposed to leave already?
"You have a problem with her? I managed to control myself whenever she pops up in my mind… and…"
Crap, even remembering about her right now is making me flustered now that everyone knows and is talking about it. Word got out about my relationship with her because Ordos never learned how to shut his mouth. That dumb idiot.
"Don't blame it on your friend, you just don't know how to keep a relationship private."
"And how should you know?"
"Because… I've kept a relationship with my girlfriend private… before? That was until Mana was born though. That also reminds me, you should use protection when you sleep wi-"
"SHUT UP!" I yelled as I felt my face heat up, my uncle bursting into laughter as he saw my reaction.
He's even the same old dick, teasing me every chance he finds.
"My relationship with Aurelia hasn't gone that far yet," I admitted and turned away.
I felt my uncle grin and I immediately wished I hadn't said that.
"Oh c'mon now, you still haven't had sex with her yet? Why don't you come to Lusitania with me? I can get you lai-"
"Go before you piss me off."
"Ok!"
As he got further away from Lucifis, he turned around, winked at me, and gave me a thumbs up.
I hope I don't see that man again.
I looked at the paper in my hand and unrolled it. When I looked at the contents inside, my eyes widened.
I can't show anyone this, not to anyone.

After working and taking a bath, I walked over to my bed and sat down. My Katana was leaning against my chair and my clothes were on the table.
I walked over to the mirror and looked at my hair. The scar on my neck was now barely visible and I think I don't have to wear a scarf. Well, I still wear one, not because I have to hide my scar, but because it's almost winter.
I then looked at my hair. Three weeks and my hair has already grown past my nape. My white bang had gone past my shoulder and reached my chest.
When I first came into this world, my hair was only near my chin. Now it's this long. Well, at least it's not longer than my hair length when I'm in Katharsis.
Though I'm still questioning, how does my hair grow in Katharsis?
…
I shouldn't think too much about it.
After wearing my clothes and taking a hair tie to tie my hair back, I flopped onto my bed and looked up at the ceiling. Nyx walked over to me and meowed. I scratched her head and then looked up at the ceiling.
…
"Ugh…"
I haven't seen Aurelia in two weeks after the incident. There are still people taking the exam and classes don't resume until next week. It seems that the mayhem I caused during the exam had delayed it for the next class. It took them the time that I was out to fix the forest until it was in its original state again. Guess that was my fault.
I'm already starting to feel anxious. I wish I can visit her but the fact that she's a princess means that I won't be able to visit her because she lives in a castle.
And I can't visit that castle because it belongs to the king! And only special visitors are able to go inside. I wish I can sneak in but I don't have the right gear. Even if I sneaked in using shadows, there are probably people that will be able to detect my presence. I've seen people do it and I know it'll be nearly impossible.
I guess the best I can do is wait till then…
Now… the paper…
I opened the paper again and read the contents.
The centipede that entered my body was called a "Dovah Jun Du'ul." My uncle didn't specify what the name meant, so looks like I'll just have to call it that.
The Dovah Rah Du'ul, a centipede that latches onto one's heart and inserts its toxins into their host. Once fully drained of its venom, it will die while they have sunken their fangs into their host's heart.
The toxins are not toxic, but they have a chemical that shatters one's limits and allows one to walk a stronger path.
Shatters one's limits? Does that explain how I was able to transform into full-spirito? Wait no, there is more.
Though it may heighten one's ability, it will not be perfect. Raw power will be given to the host, but it is their will that allows them to master it.
There was also writing under the scales of the centipede. They read:
Zu'u Bolaav Hi Faal Du'ul Do Faal Jun Do Dovah.
Jeez, how the hell do I pronounce that? What language even is this?
The only thing left on the paper was a drawing of the centipede and a note that said he doesn't know what language this thing was written in.
This thing entered my body and latched onto my heart. But wait, how does that explain how I was able to regenerate every part of my body back? I was only left with… a head... and that was all. Not a bright memory I want to live with. What else? Is that it?
Shit, aside from being a better assassin than me, holding a noble prize, and being a famous professor, he still can't explain anything clearly to me, and ONLY ME! That goes for everything he's done to me.
Crap, I can't blame him, it's not like we are familiar with this world so I guess I can cut him some slack. But that won't make me forgive him for the past things he's done.
I clenched my left chest. So I have its toxins running around my body. My limits were shattered so I can unlock my spirito transformation, but it's not perfect.
Well, not all transformations are perfect upon unlocking them. I can still feel a bit of fatigue even though I've taken plenty of rest.
I've also been slacking, haven't trained in days. Maybe I should train when I have the time. Push-ups and sit-ups aren't going to do anything anymore.
I flipped the paper and there was a note on the back.
"There is no protection in this world, so remember to pull out."
When I read it, I immediately lit it on fire and watched as it turned into ashes.
"…I'm gonna kill him when I see him again."
I took my hair tie off, blew the candle out, and hopped onto my bed. I got another long day ahead of me, more… cooking. I can't use the help of my doppelganger anymore because now it'll just come out as a giant 9-foot beast. Looks like I still need to work on controlling my shadow magic.
I yawned and my eyes were feeling droopy. Yeah, I should sleep now.
***
When I woke up, I heard commotion coming from the first floor. I stumbled out of bed and looked around for my hair tie as my hair was blocking my vision. Looking out of the window, I saw a carriage that looked like it would belong to someone of nobility or royalty.
I'd put my shirt and pants on and walk out of my room.
As I got closer to the first floor, I saw near the corner of my eye Mr. Julio bowing to someone.
"W-we were not expecting your presence here, your majesty!" Mr. Julio said as he continued to bow.
"No need to bow to me, raise your head please," A different voice spoke.
Your majesty…? Wait… what?
"I'll get him right away."
Mr. Julio ran towards the stairs but then bumped into me.
"Ahh, Seiya! Nice timing."
"What's going on?"
"H-his majesty is here to see you?"
"...to... see me?"
"Yes! Just come down already!"
Mr. Julio dragged me down the stairs and then sat me down in a chair. I looked across the table and a man in white and gold velvet clothes greeted me with a smile. Just by looking at him, I already knew he was royalty.
"So... you must be Seiya."
