Koriand'r stands up and moves over to me, lying down next to me she pulls her body close and lays her head on my chest.

"I am a good of Awakened, my people exist everywhere from what I can sense, and you are one of them. In the time they experimented on you they awakened you, you are much more powerful than you were."
"Am I strong enough now to have got revenge alone?" she asks as her finger stops circling.
"Not yet, you will become stronger, you see you now gain a lot more power from ultra-violet light than you used to, meaning you can convert a lot more to energy and you can absorb many differing types of radiation from lifeforms, honestly you are the natural prey to

I ended up taking a nap on the chair, when I woke I noticed something happening in the Watchtower, it seemed Vandal made his move and failed horribly, he was meant to arrive on the Watchtower, and the JLA members would all kneel to him.
I started watching a little earlier and saw how Red Arrow's attempt to infect Batman failed horribly as the mind control was ejected from his body the moment it attempted to crawl into him.
Batman then easily disposed of Red Arrow and headed into the man gathering area where he saw the chips being ejected from the members one by one in the order they were infected.
Moments later the teleporter activated and Vandal Savage strutted out. Noticing the gaze of many of the JLA do not seem glazed and no one was kneeling him he tried to slowly back up, but found he was unable to move.
"So, nice plan there V, you see though, you messed up. Instead of all these plans of yours, you should have found out when your power runs out." I say as I walk around from behind him and jump up to sit on the edge of the U-shaped table.
Even though Vandal can talk, he is just glaring at me. Then grins, bad move as I know his ace. As Klarion appears his cat appears in my hands, and I also feel my Omega dimension fill up.
This little lord of Chaos runs around as Vandal's little bodyguard, but just like Fate he has a flaw, this cat is what he uses to keep himself in our dimension, and it is not easy to create new ones.
Move Chaos Brat and I kill the cat, I can see Batman already making plans for the future for cat killing. "Hey, no fair, give Teekl back…. huh why is it not working?"
"Wow, you are stupid. Your powers cannot work on an entity that has a more pure Chaos source than you brat." I hear the JLS's moving about behind me, it seems they are more relaxed knowing I can handle Klarion, well except Batman.
"So, Savage, time is up. Hope you had a good time, any last words? No? Okay."
As he opens his mother he crumbles to dust and falls to the floor.
"So, lesson to you all, including you brat, just because you think you have forever does not mean someone more powerful thinks the same thing. I grin at him and flip the cat back, as expected in mid-flip an explosive bat-a-rang hit it, and bang, kibbles.
As the cat dies the Chaos lords scream in frustration and vanish, all I hear behind me is the bat mumble, "It works."
I turn to face them all and sigh.
"In some ways, I wish you guys were more like Batman, and Batman was less like Batman. You realize if I never changed everything you would have caused massive problems in the galaxy and left the Earth undefended against Darkseid?"
Wonder Woman steps forward, "My Thanks."
I nod, this is so frustrating, I know nothing will change and they will keep falling for the same plots.
The only way to change anything seems to be to change everything, but how.
I sigh, then look them all over. "I have a suggestion, I know you will not do it unless all of you agree but anyway."
I can see them taken aback, Batman moves to his chair and the rest follow suit and keep quiet, watching me.
"I know what his universe is going to be like, there are massive threats that will cause massive harm to civilians, but the Earth will carry on, threat after threat, more deaths."
"You have some of the smartest minds, Superman, if he put his mind to it, he would be a super super genius, how is it you have not built solar system defense? Or just outer space defense?" I am thinking of starting small, feeding them little bits.
"I am just astonished you build a clubhouse in space and that is it. All of you have something you could add, and why are those with tech minds not helping build items or armour for the others, magical ones, why does no one offer mind invasion talisman to the others?"
I stop and look at them, watching them look at each other.
"I will not always be here, and when I am not, civilians will die, normally you will win, but at a cost." I shake my head, maybe it is hard for people to see beyond their planet?
