With a deep intake of breath, I begin.
"So, firstly the nine realms are actually ten, one has been removed from our memories."
Thor was the first, as expected, "This is impossible, no one could make my father forget anything!"
Odin shook his head and sighed, "Sit! I told you no outbursts, I suspect we will hear many things that we regard as impossible before this meeting is over."
I nod and am still thinking how best to say this.
"Do you recall the entity you trapped within Thor's hammer?" I ask
"Yes, that was a good fight, they called it the Mother of Thunder." Odin nodded as he answered.
"Okay, well Heven, the 10th realm was using it as a power source. When you trapped it, they lost it, and the minor god who had enthralled the race within left them with a final order. To repower Heven and avenge the loss of their power source."
Odin raises his brow while I see Frigga, an always perceptive woman clench her husband's hand harder."
I look down and take a deep breath, at that time, Hela was grounded, and Thor and Loki were not born, So they focused on your other children."
Odin's eyes grow wide, Frigga's eyes grow glassy as she swallows hard, Thor is confused while Loki is carefully processing things, and Hela has started to crush the arm of her chair, at the same time the four and the thought that is an entire realm can be forgotten, so could a child.
Frigga speaks, it is obvious she is struggling to keep her voice from breaking. "Which Children, which of my children were taken from me?" it almost sounds like begging.

Tears are running freely down Frigga's cheeks while Hela is barely containing her power from bursting out.
Loki is gritting his teeth while Thor is looking at his mother with concern, he raises his hand and places it on her shoulder.
"They came up with the plan of using the children as power sources, once they had them they shut Heven's shields, not knowing it would activate a spell powered by Heven to make anyone within Heven be forgotten."
"Which of my children did I forget?" Frigga asks, I am unsure about her emotional state so I glance at Odin, who nods at me.
I sigh, " Vilar - God of Strength, Tyr - God of War, Hermod - God of Speed, Balder - God of Light, and the newly born Aldrif, your second daughter."
Frigga turned and buried her head into Odin's shoulder as she cried, Odin gently rubbed her back as he looked lost in thought.
"I managed to sneak a peak into the realm, they are all alive, just unnaturally older, nothing Hela cannot solve." Seeing the way they behaved I was slowly giving up getting what I wanted out of this.
"I did notice some did not seem happy with using your children, the one who cares for Aldrif is very attentive, but there are some others I noticed who seemed disgusted. The biggest issue is the shield draws power from your children, if we try to force it open it might hurt them."
"Strangely I have someone who can phase through anything under my rule, I can let her join Hela as a maid. Then, in exchange for Heven and half the angels, my information falls slightly short. To balance this I will offer Odin a Godly grade body from my pantheon. Does this seem fair?"
Although Odin has a lot on his mind, he can understand I am telling him he needs half the Angels, he needs a larger army, and the Angels can fly. "The deal is more than fair, and your additional contribution is noted," Odin stands and shakes my hand.
I look at Hela, "Kitty will be perfect to be your attendant, just ensure she is safe. Thank you all, and good luck." with that I vanish.
Thor looks confused and frustrated, "Why is he not helping us? And why are we giving him benefits?"
Loki takes a big sigh, "He is doing it for us, he has helped us as much as he is able without making us look bad.
He has his own pantheon, if we rely on him, what does it say about us? He told us about our family, he told us why it happened, he told us where they are, that they are living and he has given us a way in. If he did any more he might as well do it himself, then we would owe him for the rescue of our family."
Odin nods, "Loki is right, but he has done more, He is allowing Hela to help us under the guise of family so it does not look bad for us, then he has given Hela a maid who just happens to be ideal for the task, that also saves our face. Lastly, he has told me I need to prepare a larger army for the future."
Loki thought for a moment about the last point, then understood.
Odin looked down, "We will bring them back, and once the shield is switched off, we will remember everything and be a big family once again," Odin smiled warmly as he said the last part, hugging his wife close.
It is all in their hands now, but this explains why our myths differed from Asgard's. Although this does not explain the non-family gods missing, now I am curious.
Together with Lilly, Peggy, Nat, and Steve, we check all is going well in the mortal world. With Lilly's hidden satellites, we can detect mutants the moment their X gene activates all over the world. We have enough influence over media to play down most of the more dramatic awakenings, either Blink or Nightcrawler who alternate take a first encounter team. We have other space-related mutants, but very few want to work outside the island.
Next is Ciar, Lilly, Nat, and Athena. Emma and Ororo for the state of the Solar system. (Michael and Frank are not interested)
Mars is being terraformed, and other planets with liveable moons have defensive stations that are starting terraforming. We have our own Mother ship now, and then the blackbirds. Lilly has her defensive net working and we are starting to get resources from the bases.
I describe the portals we have opened, and the actions taken in them. Most do not seem happy about the first portal and the behavior of heroes there while the second one got a few grins. I have placed a log next to each one, if someone enters they log it, and on exit, they log all their actions inside. The portal can only be entered with my permission.
Letting them know about Asgard and Heven they seem to realize on their own why we are not taking action.
With that, we all go back to our homes. "Lilly, could you mind finding any gods of myth related to the Asgards?"
"Sure, you are wondering if any more of them are missing? I'll look for hints of any then, not just the ones we have mentioned in myth."
"Done, I found 40 gods referenced in myth that are not currently part of Asgard. Some are referenced as being in the company or Thor or other known Asgardian gods."
"Are these minor god or something?"
"One is, the rest are major gods."
