Nick tapped himself on the ears to ensure he had heard Shemar clearly. The appearance of an entire army of Anunnaki was unforeseen. Nick had not expected them to strike so soon. It was even worse knowing that Zane and some of the other most powerful members of their team were absent.

"The Anunnaki are attacking??" Queried Sergeant Duncan with a shocked expression.

"Yes! A soldier saw them around half a mile away from here! He sent me here to deliver the message!" Replied Shemar.

"Damn it! Why are they attacking us?? Aren't they supposed to conserve what little energy they have for the Apocrypha??" Boomed Captain Von.
