Chapitre 109: Chapter: Nick's Rage

"Under arrest..?"

Layla scratched at her ears to ensure she had heard President Richard properly. Why would he want to arrest them when they more or less did nothing wrong? Besides, the world was ending. Not much could be considered moral or immoral in a dying world. There was no clear reason as to why he would want to arrest them.

Layla however did realize something about those he wanted to arrest. They were all of Apocrypha or Anunnaki blood. Was he just arresting them out of fear?

"Yes, that's correct. We need to detain them as soon as possible. So it would be great if they came with us willingly," replied the President.

Before Layla could say anything else, Zane stepped forward, resulting in her holding back some very harsh words. Zane narrowed his eyebrows thoroughly as he looked into the eyes of the president. Two military soldiers had to quickly run to his side in hopes of protecting him from Zane.
