Chapitre 105: Chapter: Conflict

Everyone except Anastasia and Nick exited the truck in search of Zane. Unfortunately, the truck was unable to move any further due to how badly damaged the base was. There were too much debris and rubble present to drive through.

Meanwhile, Layla and the others dashed towards the metal platform with weapons in hand. Explosions and the sounds of different weaponry blasted through the area. Dust, blood, and bodies were sent flying alongside the chaos. The Apocrypha base was now a legitimate battlefield.

 Layla's breathing was heavy and sweat crawled down her face. She was still far from better, but she was determined to see Zane. She was not about to let her illness prevent her from doing what she had come there for.

"Layla, don't push yourself too hard!" Warned Serenity.
