Chapitre 98: Chapter: Change of Plans

Layla sat dimly with her face buried in her hands. Her heart throbbed in worry and pain. Zane was the only one that she could think about. The shock that came with Apollo's news that Zane could die was almost unbearable.

Anastasia, Nick, Serenity, and even Apollo— who was in the form of Elio were also present in the room. Lamar and the twins were however somewhere else as they were busy helping to secure the hideout.

By this time, the news of what had happened to Zane had been spread to everyone. He was already at the Apocrypha base and it was much too late to stop him.

"What are we going to do..? We can't just let Zane die!" Cursed Anastasia.

"I don't plan on letting that happen! We all need Zane if we hope to see a better future..." Muttered Nick.

"My only regret is not coming here sooner! I had to sneak out of the base to get this information to you which is why I took so long!" Noted Apollo.
