Chapitre 31: CHAPTER 31: DRAMATIC MUCH?

I toss and turn uncomfortably on my bed. My body's aching all over and I feel dizzy. My throat also hurts. I pull my body up slowly to sit and the room starts to spin. I curse under my breath, grip my pillow and breathe as slowly as I can to calm my nerves. After the room stops spinning, I manage to get up, real slowly, and fetch myself a glass of water from the kitchen. I can't even manage to curse when I feel myself wobbling and finally fall, bringing down the glass and some other stuff that has been put by the sink together with me.

I lay down on my kitchen floor, feeling a sharp pain on my left hand, I glance at it and sigh.

There's a long gush of blood coming out of my hand. Starts from my wrist and almost ends up to my upper arm. That'll leave a scar... is all I can manage to think. I curse again and get up slowly, feeling even more nauseous. I look around carefully and spot a tablecloth to wrap my injury with. At least I still have enough sense to stop the bleeding first.

What do I do now? I ask myself, searching around the room for something. I can go down to the infirmary... but... will I be able to get there without passing out? Besides, it's almost midnight (damn, didn't know I slept that long).

My hand starts to sting even more now, sending waves of headaches and displeasures to my head.

I should call someone.

I think, contemplating, to be exact on who I need to call. I walk slowly to my bed and sit down on the floor because I have no strength left to pull myself up. I reach out to the table next to the bed and with trembling hands, I take my phone. After I punch in the number, I take the phone in between my cheek and my shoulder while I tightened the cloth around my hand.

"Hello," Allen answers after a while.

"Hi..." my voice cracks. Ugh.

"What is it, Levi?" he asks. I still manage to shiver at the way he says my name even through all this pain. Heheheh.

"Uhm... are you in your room?" I ask slowly.

".... Yes..." he answers carefully.

"Uhm... can you... come to my room for a while?" I ask as calmly as I can. "I... kinda need help," I tell him.

"What happened?" he asks almost immediately.

"Uhm... Just... can you?" I ask again.

".... Sure..." he says rather hesitantly.

"Thanks..." I say in relief. "Just come in with the key I gave you. You still have it don't you?" I ask again.

"Okay," Allen says shortly before hanging up.

I let my phone slide and drop to the floor near my legs while I sit facing the door with my back rests against the bed.

I called Allen because I know he won't fuss and freak out at the state I'm in right now, which I can say, I look pretty bad. I don't think I can handle Chuck or Marsha right now. Or even Kenneth.

I finally hear a click after some time. I can hear the knob turning and I finally see Allen come in when I lift my head slowly.

God, he's beautiful. I groan to myself. Even in this state I can still get mesmerized by him, how pathetic.

"Levi?" He calls my name and turns on the lights to get a better view. His gaze immediately falls on the mess I made when I fell earlier. I drop my head because one, I was embarrassed, and two, I feel worse now that the room is filled with blinding lights.

I can hear his hurried footsteps coming closer and he finally sits down in front of me. I'm still avoiding looking at him but I can feel his warmth as he places his hands on mine. I grimace and hiss when he touches my injury.

"Can you... ummm...." I ask slowly and he gets up immediately.

"I'll go get my keys," He cuts me off and hurriedly runs off back to his room before huffing and puffing back to mine.

Allen comes back almost immediately and squats down in front of me again.

"Bear with me," He says softly before slowly scoops me off of the floor.

He's carrying me princess style...

I'd laugh hysterically if I have the strength.

I groan and grimace instead. Weakly though.

"I injured my hand. Not my legs," I mange to slur it out.

Allen says nothing but I can feel his body tensing. He quickly and carefully carries me out of my room and I probably goes in and out of consciousness because the next thing I know, I'm inside his very luxurious, very comfortable car.

He drives fast but carefully. My head feels lighter and lighter every second. How much did I bleed anyway? Did I ask that out loud? What was he saying again?

"Levi... Don't sleep," Allen puts his hand on my thigh. His voice is stern. Cold. And far. But his hand is warm though. Did I say that out loud again?

"Baby, stay awake, please," I hear the stern voice again. But it's calling me baby, which makes me chuckle.

"Chuck? That you?" I say weakly, amuse.

"Stay awake," He says again, more sternly.

"No 'baby'?" I can still joke, at least.

"Baby, stay awake," Allen repeats with no amusement at all. I manage to let out a small chuckle. But I can feel myself getting even more tired and sleepy.

"I'm sleepy," I tell Allen and his hand moves from my thigh to caress my hair and cheek. "You doing that doesn't help," I say again, chuckling.

"Sorry," He stops caressing me and just puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Don't stop," I tell him, trying to keep my eyes open, "It feels good," I tell him again. My words are trailing off. I can't hear what he says but he starts caressing me again.

It feels good...

He feels good...

I feel...
