A week after that incident, Akbar called Hoorain's house number. After talking to her mother, he asked about Hoorain.

"I thought that it was you she keeps talking to for so many hours." Akbar was shocked by the revelation.

"What do you mean?" Akbar asked.

"When was the last time she spoke to you?" Aunty asked in return rather than answering his question.

"A week ago ... I just returned to Karachi from Islamabad today." Akbar told.

"Well, I'll inquire about it then." Aunty said.

"No! I don't want you to scold her just for these little things ... it will not happen again. I just had to inform you and her of my arrival."

"Son! All the preparations for the wedding are complete here. Just leave all your busyness and do this important work first so that we too can be relieved of our duty." Akbar laughed lightly at Aunty's words.
