Snow fell like cherry blossom petals everywhere as if the wind blew them in a spring morning. However, it was autumn in the current calendar of Jihon. Although the season dictated there should be more of the scarlet coloring of drying leaves, it was white throughout the year in the far north instead.

Kazuma sneezed as he walked shivering with his companions. "It's so cold! Main quests suck.. are we there yet?"

Minerva, Rika, Natsuko and Kazuma just finished two successive raids on some necromantic rituals. They were currently walking through a forest filled with ice, heading towards the nearby city of Sahorro.

"Why don't you try cloaking yourself with fire magic to keep you warm?..", asked Natsuko with a devious smile.

"Oh! Great idea!..", beamed Kazuma as he immediately attempted to cast the spell. However, the "fire cloak spell" did not quite work well as he burned himself up instead. He quickly dispelled the magic right after. "Itai! Itai! Itai! Hot, hot, hot!"
