Chapitre 138: Surrogate Parents?

Lily bit her lip, wondering if she'd said something wrong before she noticed her boyfriend's reassuring gaze.

Couple minutes later, Lily had been pulled aside by a royal maid who had told her someone was waiting for her in her guest room. Out of shock and surprise, she had forgotten to excuse herself and greet her boyfriend goodbye, wondering who would come to the Amarisian palace just to visit her. 

She had also momentarily forgotten that her parents were planning to come and visit, having told her previously. The fact had just slipped her mind with all that happened during the past days.

So, as she made her way to her room, deep in thought, before she reached her destination.

Stealthily approaching the door, she opened it to find her two parents seated at her quarters' comfy couches. 

"Mom, dad!" She called as her Mr and Mrs Carmichael stood up seconds before Lily ran towards her dearest parents, embracing them both in a tight hug.
