Chapitre 97: “S-She Really Said That?”

Lily was taken aback for a split second before leaving abruptly. 

She had enough of this, and she wouldn't take any more of Carina's insults any longer. 

Connor, following to see if Lily was okay after her sudden confrontation with Carina. 

Once he left, Carina muttered, "Looks like our lunch was left untouched." 

Back with Emma and James; Emma who was trying to comfort James after that fiasco of a lunch. 

"I'm sorry for what happened, Em," James apologized. 

"It's not your fault, James," Emma assured. 

"I'm pretty sure it was a slip up of her words, I'm sure she didn't mean what she said," Emma said as she tried to console him, her hand on his. 

"You don't know her like I do, she did mean it, and it wasn't some slip up, she planned this," James replied almost immediately. 

Emma tilted her head. 

"She's your sister, James," she reasoned. 

It was then James turned to face his girlfriend, muddled.
