Chapitre 92: Nervousness, Judgment, and Surprises

Emma paced the room nervously, Lily seated on a chaise as she watched her best friend worry and shame herself for being a terrible girlfriend which James would vouch for, since she was not.

"Emma, rather than walking to and fro around your bedroom, and deciding what to do next, why not just talk to him," Lily repeated, as she had said that many times before. 

"He's your boyfriend, not some stranger. He'd understand out of anyone else," Lily suggested. 

Emma's gaze was glued to Lily before she bit her lip. 

"I guess you do have a point," she mumbled. 

Lily raised her brow. 

"Of course I do. Besides, what is there you had to worry about, both of you did it together. He won't blame you for anything, and you know that," Lily reasoned. 

"And he's going to be much too busy with today's ceremony to be worried about that," she muttered inaudibly.
