Chapitre 488: Roger's Disruption

Even though he tried his best to tease Anne, Alan's efforts were in vain, because Anne ignored him. After slicing the meat for Alan, Anne then placed the meat on her own plate and ate it voraciously. Every now and then, she glanced at her husband who only played with his fork on the plate. He was annoyed at the two waitresses who were now standing right behind him, so he couldn't play with Anne anymore.

Until the dinner was over, Alan still hadn't really eaten the delicious food on his plate, while Anne, who really liked meat, didn't waste the opportunity. She and Linda even shared different types of meat, which made Mr. David Clarke, who saw the two girls' behavior, smile.

"Miss Linda seems to be really sincere to Miss Anne, sir," said Luis quietly. Of all Mr. David Clarke's staffs, only Luis who still called Anne as Miss Anne, and that was because, for him, the late Mrs. Yolanda Clarke was the only person who deserved to be called Madam.
