As he crossed the bridge to New Jersey, Evan drove quickly, at the same speed as his thoughts, he could tell.

He had to tell Chloe how much he missed her scent, her laughter, her voice. Even when she spoke without thinking. He missed every part of her body, the touches, the teasing.

Evan needed her more than he could ever imagine.

He couldn't wait another minute to see her and bring her home.

Evan grinned at the thought that he sounded like a passionate teenager. Well, maybe not a teenager, but in love he could guarantee he was.

The possibility that she might ignore him crossed his mind, but Evan clung to the last thread of hope. As Tyler had said, if she really loved him, she would understand his reasons.

Evan pressed his foot on the gas, not caring about the fines he had possibly taken. A few minutes later, he parked the car in front of her house.

He got out of the car taking off his sunglasses, then he looked at the house and sighed deeply. It was all or nothing.
