Chapitre 207: Awaiting the final match

AT THE MEDICAL BAY.

Okoye is seated upright in bed with her gaze set on the sky as her thoughts ran wild. A knock is heard on her door which startles her a bit.

"Who is there??"

Okoye asks, having regained her wits.

"Its Dan, I'd like for us to talk."

Dan remarks from behind the door.

"Oh.. okay. You may come in."

Okoye remarks with a little stutter.

The door knob is turned and the door opened to reveal Dan standing behind it with a tired expression on his face. Dan and Okoye exchanged glances for a bit before Okoye finally averted her eyes.

Dan let's out a sigh before walking into the war and closing the door behind him.

"How are you feeling now??"

Dan asks as he approached the bed.

"I. Feel…. A… bit better now, thanks for asking."

Okoye replies with a little stutter.

"That's good."

Dan remarks heaving a sigh of relief.
