*Rose's POV*
"I am so bored," Tracey whined, the next day at night.
"What do you want to do?" Daphne asked.
"We should play a game," Pansy suggested.
We looked at the boys to see if they wanted to play.
"Fine," Draco said.
"But only if it is not a girl game," Blaise added.
Pansy, Tracey, Millicent, Daphne and I rolled our eyes.
"I know it isn't Halloween, I mean it would have been fun to play this yesterday but Black had to ruin the fun...." I said,"Anyways, why don't we play Truth or Dare?"
"Awesome idea!"
We played many rounds, me getting lucky each time. Draco had to go outside our dorm for five whole minutes when it was past Curfew.
Blaise had to prank Filch.
And the others, too, had to do alot of Dares.
It was Midnight before I was asked,"Truth or Dare?" By Millicent.
I thought for a second, everybody had chosen Dare, I would be left out and shown that I wasn't brave if I didn't choose Dare.
"Dare," I replied to Millicent.
She had a smirk on her face,"I Dare you to go to the Forbidden Forest and stay there for half an hour."
I widened my eyes,"What? No!"
"Scaredy Cat," Millicent teased.
"Fine, I will go," I said standing up.
Blaise also stood up immediately,"I will come too."
"Aw, this is so cute!" Tracey squealed.
"Shut. Up," I said blushing,"Blaise, it is alright, I will go by myself."
Blaise nodded, sitting down, looking embarrassed.
I took a deep breath and waved them goodbye, walking out of the common room.
Take my steps caustiosly in order to not get caught by Filch, I went towards the Forbiddon Forest.
Once I had entered, I passed Roots of trees and maybe, small creatures.
Why had I agreed to come here?
It was scary and dark, I hated the dark!
"What is that noise?" I heard someone say.
I quickly hid behind a tree as I heard hooves come towards me.
It was a centuar!
I was trembling as the centuar came closer to me.
"Bane!"
Another Centuar came, I was scared to death.
I felt something wet touched, I jumped out of my skin.
When I looked down to see what it was, I saw a dog.
"Bane," the second centuar said,"We have a meating to get to."
The first centuar whose name was Bane, looked around before following the other centuar.
I sighed in relief then crouched down and petter the black dog.
"Hello there, little fella," I said to it,"What are you doing here?"
The dog barked and then started trotting, indicating for me to follow it.
I stood up and walked besides it. The dog went straight up to the whomping willow. I stopped dead on my track,"Nu-uh, I am not going in there."
The dog barked and went straight to the whomping willow.
It did something to the tree, which made it calm down.
The black dog barked at me once again.
I walked to it,"Wow, you are a clever dog."
We went into the whomping willow and into a room.
"Wait a minute," I said looking around,"This is the shreiking shack."
"Yes indeed, it is," a voice said behind me.
I turned around and opened my mouth to scream, it was Sirius Black.
I hand was put over my mouth.
"I trust you to not tell anyone, I swear, I am innocent," Sirius Black said getting closer to me so that I could see him properly.
I bit my lip.
Sirius removed his hand away from my mouth smirking.
I crossed my arms,"How do you think I am just going to belive you."
He gave me a look.
I almost fainted with that look.
"Ron's pet rat, scabbers, is Peter Pettigrew."
"Yeah, like I am buying that," I said sarcastically.
He mumbled something and I could only catch a few was like,"Sorry," "Remus," and,"wolf."
Then he looked at me,"I guess I will have to tell you the truth, but remeber one thing, you can't tell a single soul, okay?"
"You have my word."
Sirius told me everything, of how Remus Lupin is a wolf, and they became an unregistered animagus for Lupin. Because of Lupin people thought that this shack was haunted. Then later on when Voldemort was after Lily and James, Peter had sold them to Voldemort.
Sirius sighed. His back was facing me and he was looking out of the Shack's window,"I still feel guilty."
I stood up,"It isn't your fault, if we have to blame someone, that is Peter. You didn't know that he would betray Lily and James."
"But I wa-"
"It isn't your fault," I said sternly.
Sirius flinched,"You remind me of Lily."
I rolled my eyes,"So how are you planning to convince everyone?"
"The best I have is that a rat cannot live for 13 years," He then sighed again,"Not only did I loose my best friends that night, I also lost my daughter."
"You had a daughter?" I asked.
He nodded,"She was four years old that day, her name was Erinique."
I scrunched up my nose and Sirius laughed at my reaction.
"Her mother, who died a month after Erinique was born, had come from a posh family," Sirius looked as though he was in a memory.
"How did your wife die?" I whispered.
Sirius didn't say anything for a second,"Courtney died with Dragon Pox."
I nodded as the clock struck two.
"Dang it. Sorry Sirius, I need to get back to the castle. I promise I will come and visit you!" I said already going out of the Whomping Willow.
I quickly rushed to the common room, just as I was about to go in, I was stopped by someone.
"Rose, follow me to my office," Sev said.
I sighed and followed him.
Why did I have to get caught just when I was about to go into our common room?! I could have made it safely if it wasn't for Sev.
I sat down on the chair in front of his desk, watching him to do the same thing.
"Why," Sev asked,"Were you out of bed, that too, out of the common room."
I didn't say a word.
There was a funny feeling in my head.
"Get out of my head! It is private you know."
"Ah," Sev said calmly,"You know?"
"I only guessed last night, but I suppose it is true," I replied, shrugging.
"So, will you tell why you were out of bed?"
I sighed,"Fine, I was, erm, I out of bed because... I was hungry and I wanted... a midnight snack, yeah."
Sev rolled his eyes,"Like am I going to believe that, likely excuse I used, anyway, not the point. I bet you don't even know where the kitchens are."
"I-I never said I went to the kitchens, I said I went to get a snack, that could have been from anywhere around the castle."
Sev gave me a look. I sighed in defeat.
There was that feeling in my head, once again, and I couldn't do anything to block it out.
"You went to the Forbiddon Forest and then met Sirius Black?" Sev said in disbelief.
I didn't meet his eyes,"He is innocent, I swear he is!"
"That isn't my concern, I mean it is, but you went into the Fordbiddon Forest just to show that you were brave!?"
I didn't say anything.
Sev rubbed his forehead, I started to feel guilty.
"Look, Sev, I am so sorry, but look at the bright side! We found out Sirius is innocent! We can save him!"
"I just want you to be safe, Black is still dangerous. Even if he has a few points, he may be making it up. Be careful around him, if you can, don't even go near him. I shall tell Dumbledore about this, though," Sev said.
I nodded,"Just, please don't tell him about Sirius."
"Okay."
I smiled at him,"Thanks."
Then I stood up to go to our Dorms, falling asleep the moment my head hit the pillow.
But little did Rose know, Severus Snape was, indeed, going to tell Albus Dumbledore about Sirius Black. Severus wanted to accuse Remus Lupin, for he still hated Remus and his gang of friends.
