NARRATOR'S POV

                Brennan rushed inside the castle, in the dark empty halls his feet echoed as they hit the stone floor. As expected the castle is now empty, not a single person remained alive. It was because they took so much time that Amber beat them to it. She arrived first and slaughtered everyone inside the castle. Blood and corpses littered everywhere, the scent of death and rotting bodies hit hard. Like a punch straight to the gut, that would send a person at least several meters away.
