The stench of piss, manure and rotting things was all that Urfaal could smell. It didn't help that his favorite boots were about to get soggy from the dirty water coming off the stream of the sewer.

"Damn it." Urfaal said as he tried his best not to puke from the miasma of the sewer. "My boots are getting soggy."

"Told yah tis gonna ruin yer boots." Ghwymyr replied while walking through waist-deep of muck and rotten things. "At least yer only problem's yah boots. Look at me! I am almost swimmin' in shit!" He said sarcastically.
