"Boss we tried to negotiate with Ms. Wendy but she's opposed to work for FOR YOU.", Drake[Karan's assistant] spoke.
Karan lifted his head and furrowed.
"Did you mention the offer is from FOR YOU?", He questioned as he signed the files before him.
"Yes."
"Did you say that she was called by the CEO himself?",
"Yes Boss, She seems to not care and said she's happy with the way she is.", Drake spoke as he saw his Boss's wary expression.
"How about we give up?", Drake spoke as he was conscious of his boss's reaction.
"Drake...that shop has the shadows of Anvi's childhood designs. This Wendy...help me set a meeting with her...her designs are important than the main or international designers we have.", Karan's voice came through.
"Yes Boss.", he walked out of the room and started to bang his head to the wall.
MEDIA SCORE.
"Manager....!!!", Sandy's voice broke everyone's ears...but she seemed to not care about them and was only interested in the letter in her hand.
"Manager...Manager...", Sandy rushed towards Aditi's office.
"What did you eat early in the morning? A speaker?", Aditi spoke.
"No...Man...Manager...it's the invitation letter from HOPE TEAM...THE HOPE TEAM...to Ms.Aditi, That's you.", Sandy's excitement exceeded all the limits.
"What? Get the letter here.", She couldn't believe it too.
INVITE :
"Ms.Aditi you are invited to join THE TEAM HOPE as the last member of the team. Hope you could report on the 34th floor in the afternoon."
"Manager...Am I coming with you?", Sandy's nervous voice broke her train of thought.
"What? planning to get rid of me? Ask Jai to Pack his things and you Pack your things too, we have to report to the team this afternoon.", Aditi replied
"Yes, Boss...Love you to the moon and back.", She ran out to speak with Jai.
Just when the door made a bang sound...a message popped up.
Aditi saw the message as her lips couldn't help but smile.
Message: Mr.: "Congrats Adi."
Her smile widened as she stared at the message for few good minutes.
Meanwhile.
Anan who's in the board meeting tapped his phone as he was waiting for her reply.
Msg: Mrs.: "You knew it, right? Why didn't tell me?"
Mr.: "Many are aiming at you now, The fact that Director Dharma choose you, shows that you'll be the target for half of the company. Just do what you wanna do, I'm here whenever you need me."
Aditi who was examining the letter reading it again and again startled as her phone vibrated. Her smile widened by his thoughtfulness.
"Meeting Adjourned.", Anan spoke as he left the office.
Mrs.: "I know.", her short message made his heart raise.
He swiftly turned his head as he saw Karan who was waving his hand at him.
"Don't disturb us for some time.", He spoke to Rishi as he walked towards Karan.
They both entered Anan's office.
"Ever rejected by someone?", Karan spoke as he sat on the sofa.
"What kind of question is that? Examine.", Anan spoke as he unbuttoned his coat buttons.
"A girl refused to work with FOR YOU...and funnier is I invited her personally join the company.", Karan spoke as he sipped the coffee that Anan poured for him just now.
"So are you angry that she refused you or the company?", Anan's teasing voice came as he also sipped his coffee.
"Is that important?", Karan spoke.
"Not sure.", Anan replied.
"Okay, how's your life? When are you introducing your wife to me?",
"Not anytime sooner.", Anan replied as he teased him.
"Heartless.", Before he could say another word his phone started to buzz.
"Hello?", Karan spoke in his deepened voice.
"Boss Ms.Wendy agreed for the meeting.", Drake spoke.
"I have to go.", He waved at Anan as he walked out adjusting his suit.
"I'm coming down.", Karan spoke as he entered the elevator.
In the office.
Anan smiled helplessly as he pulled his phone out and texted Aditi.
Aditi who was just done setting her office along with Sandy and Jai soullessly walked towards a chair and took a seat. When she was about to close her eyes...A notification came as her phone vibrated.
Mr: "Do I have the honor to take my wife, Ms.Aditi ?"
She smiled as her finger tapped the message.
Mrs: "Mr.Chairman meet you at the parking lot."
She stood up and took her bag.
"I'll leave for lunch. You guys can also have your lunch and come back by 1.", She spoke as she walked away.
"Okay boss.", Sandy replied.
As she walked towards the elevator the exclusive lift for Chairman opened. She was busy adjusting her clothes and didn't realize the person who stopped the elevator and staring at her.
She felt something was wrong as she turned her head...She was startled out of her wits.
"Ahh...god. huh...since when are you staring at me?", She spoke as she saw Anan smiling at her without saying anything.
"Does it matter? Come let's go.", He walked towards her as she pulled her towards him.
"You go first I'll take the staff one and come down.", She pushed him gently with a smile.
"Oh.", He didn't speak as he stood beside her without saying anything.
"Why are you still here? What if someone sees us?", She spoke as she saw him standing like a rock.
"I forgot to tell you the exclusive lift of mine had a problem and can't work.", Anan spoke in his calm tone.
"You think I'm a fool? I saw you coming out from it a minute back Mr. Chairman.", Aditi spoke.
"Ahh...it's broke now, Ms. Aditi you don't believe me, how about you ask Rishi?", Anan and Aditi turned around as saw Rishi.
Rishi who knows his boss well was prepared, he turned towards Aditi...
"Yes Madam, it is indeed broken.", he spoke in his calm tone.
"Huh...what the hell was I expecting? Anyway who'll dare to check when it's exclusively for you.", She gave up and stood beside him.
Sandy and Jai who just walked out of the room saw Aditi and quickly ran towards her.
"Manager glad that you didn't go...Let's eat together.", Sandy spoke without a second thought. Suddenly Sandy felt something was odd seeing Aditi's odd smile and turned her eyes to the person beside Aditi.
Anan's cold face came into her existence...but he seems to be in bad mood, she didn't know why but she felt chills down her spine.
'This dummy...' Rishi thought as he saw his boss's face getting darker.
"Okay.", Aditi broke the silence.
The lift reached as the door opened.
Anan walked into the lift with a light speed. Rishi quickly followed him. Aditi also entered the lift as she took a small sigh. Sandy and Jai followed.
Aditi cleared her throat as she rechecked the floor she turned towards Sandy and Jai.
"Sandy, Jai don't get startled.", She spoke as she turned towards Anan leaving them confused.
She walked towards Anan as she held his hand. Sandy and Jai who saw the scene went blank for a minute.
Anan who didn't expect her to do this turned towards her as he saw her with his surprised eyes.
"I want to tell them. They'll be with me from now on, so to not have future misunderstandings I want to tell them.", she spoke as she smiled at him.
"Okay.", He smiled as he patted her with his other hand.
"Meet you in the parking.", She spoke as she unlocked his hand as they were reaching the ground floor.
"Okay.", His gentle voice made Sandy and Jai get shocked to their bones.
