Axel's Talent
It wasn't that she didn't trust Axel. Axel had contributed a lot to the Venu family, even more than the elders present here. She just couldn't accept it due to the elders.
The elders didn't know Axel as well as she did. So, they would protest about giving the forest to Axel. The negotiation went on for quite some time. Axel was getting frustrated, and Angela could see it. Axel was just trying to help them, and they were refusing the help, calling him names and accusing him of wanting to take over the family.
"So, how about this? I give you the ownership of the forest, but the resources would be handled by me and the elders. You would just be the owner of the forest on paper," said Angela.
"Angela, I am just trying to help you and the family here. I'm getting angry that I have to negotiate with you to even help you. You said that you would help me and my Pokémon to the best of your ability, so I also extended my hand of help. But you seem to think that I am taking over this family. Let me remind you, I don't need to take over the family.

"Stop, Drojo! The kid is just trying to help," Angela interjected.

"No 'buts.' Just sit down. Axel, I thank you for your help, but you should know that we humans are greedy beings. This forest is our home, and we don't want to share it. So why don't we just make you the owner on paper and see what happens."
"I already said, you can do what you want."
"Alright, the papers will be here in a minute. You can just sign them, and the forest will be yours."
After some time, the papers were ready. Angela and Axel signed the document, giving him 3/4th of the Venu family's land.

Everyone had their heads down as Angela gave her speech. Except for Adam and Mark, all of them had voiced their harsh opinions about Axel. Angela now had a headache, trying to figure out how to control this situation.
