Chapitre 11: Team Stark vs Team Viridian
"Are we ready?" Summer asked.
"Dust checked." Raven commented, sheathing into her sheath.
"Weapons on hand." Qrow spoke up, placing his sword on his back.
"Let's do this." Topaz smirked, placing Kitsune Fang on his back as well while buckling his cloak.
"Alright, time to show everyone what STRQ is made of!" Summer exclaimed.

STRQ were standing next to each other on one side of the stage while their opponents stood on the other side.
"From out of Vale, we have Team Viridian! First up is their team leader, Coby Vaskas!"
They discussed a man with bright blue hair, bright blue and red jacket with a grey shirt, black jeans with grey military boots. He also had one bright blue eye and a grey one. In his hands was a blue staff.
"Next up is Reg Lupus!"
A man with medium silver hair, dog ears, short sleeved black jackets, no shirt, showing a six pack, a blue crest on his upper chest, two claw gauntlets in his hands, silver tail, black tight pants, and black shoes.
"Third is the powerhouse Daisy Knite!"
It was a brown eyed woman with short brown hair in full silver armor with a black undersuit. On her waist, she held a masamune.
"Last up is Artemis Star!"
It was a woman with dark blue hair, purple eyes, dark, pale, blue short dress. She had dark blue leggings up to the middle of her thigh with dark blue shoes. On her back, she had a blue quiver full of arrows with a light blue bow in her hands.
"And that's it for Team Viridian. Now onto our own Beacon team!"
The screens shifted to us.
"First up is Summer Rose. While she may be a rose, that does not mean she does not have her thorns. Following her is the man who has already caused some change to our society is the man himself, Topaz Titan. Just like his name suggests, in battle, he is nothing less than a Titan! Third is Raven Branwen. Swift and to the point, you'll be feeling her blade before you see it! And finally is Qrow Branwen. It can be considered bad luck to be his opponent!"
The arena then shifted using dust to create a mountainous area with a few trees.
"So with the introductions out of the way, let the fight...Begin!"

"Perfect Luck!" Summer exclaimed.
Qrow and Topaz nodded before they dashed towards their targets before Summer and Raven went towards theirs.

Topaz drew Fang from its sheath before clashing with Daisy's masamune.
They quickly disengaged before Topaz ducked as Qrow jumped over him and slashed downward at Daisy.
She was forced to raise her sword up to block it before Topaz slammed Fang into her chestplate, sending her sliding back.
He tilted his head to the side to avoid an arrow.
Qrow didn't.
"Shit!" He exclaimed after being struck in the shoulder.
"Pretty bad luck huh?"
"Screw you." He grumbled.
"You got them?"
Qrow nodded before heading off towards the sniper.
"You sure you wanted to do that? You only managed to land a hit because he was here." Daisy commented.
"No, we just needed to draw out the sniper." Topaz commented. "The sniper would have to come help the person getting attacked by two people."
Daisy nodded. "Good plan. Not too complicated but something we could have avoided if we thought of that before the match began."
"Just like most plans, simpler doesn't mean less effective."
They dashed at each other.

Qrow rolled to avoid an arrow before pointing his sword at her before the shotguns went off and blasted into her, knocking her aura down to 85%.
He got down low before running towards her before slashing upward and catching her across the chest, sending her rolling back.
Qrow placed Harbinger onto his shoulder.
"I know your weapon is a bow but do you really have no back up plan in case of a melee?"
Artemis growled before grabbing an arrow.
Qrow was already charging her before attacking once more.

Summer blocked Reg's claws before using her semblance to teleport behind him before slashing across his back, catching him from behind.
Reg spun around, only to cross his claws together to stop the descent of her blade.
Summer moved under them, quickly revealing that it was a faint before headbutting him up into his chin, causing him to back up where she thrusted her sword into his chest, causing massive damage to his aura, lowering him to 57%.
"Behind!"
Summer quickly spun and blocked Coby's staff while Raven dashed by and went for Reg.
Raven sheathed her sword before the light switched to red. She swung it out of the sheathe, sending a beam of fire from her sword, crashing into Reg's claws, creating a small cloud.
Raven snuck behind him before slashing him in the back, kicking into his gut, before finishing with a double-handed overhead swing down onto his back.
"Reg Lupus has been eliminated by aura depletion!"
With her target down, Raven quickly headed back towards Summer.
"Artemis Star has been eliminated by aura depletion as well!"
Raven used her semblance to create a portal near Summer before running through it and slashed her sword, striking Coby in the back, surprising him.
His surprise allowed Summer to land a heavy blow into his side and throw him away.
"Coby Vaskas has been eliminated by ring out!"
Summer looked at Raven.
"This is going a lot easier than I thought it would."
"Tch. Just proves how much stronger we are."
'We've been partners for months and I still don't know what is with her and strength.'

Topaz sidestepped Daisy's masamune before slashing at her.
Daisy glowed brown before his sword hit something strong similar to striking steel.
"How many people here have a semblance that increases their defense." Topaz groaned. "Seriously, it is supposed to be somewhat rare for 2 people to have similar semblances but you're like the third or fourth person in this tournament that can do that."
"Who knows." Daisy shrugged, finding it slightly odd herself.
They dashed at each other before they ended up knocking each other's swords out of their opponents hands.
Instead of running for her sword, Daisy continued onward and closed the distance between them.
She shot a fist forward that Topaz knocked to the side, throwing his own punch. She braced herself by using her semblance to lessen the damage before shooting her own, hitting him in the chin.
He staggered backward before crouching to avoid a spinning kick.
Seeing his chance, he placed his foot behind her foot and shot a palm towards her.
When a fast object approaches someone, their instinctual reaction is to back up.
So she did, tripping backward over his foot.
He shot his other hand forward, catching her arm and slamming the palm into her chin, causing her aura to appear.
He jumped backward and quickly grabbed his sword and sheathed it.
He changed it into his M-24 and shot a fire dust bullet at her, causing her aura to appear once more. He didn't let up and fired two more shots before the buzzer sounded off.
"And down goes Daisy Knite! With that, that leaves Team STRQ of Beacon as the winners!"
Topaz changed it back into a sheathe before smirking.
He walked over and held a hand out.
"Good fight. Not many people aren't too dependent on their weapon now. I had fun."
Daisy looked at him before accepting the hand and being pulled up.
"Same here. The fight won't end this way next time."
Topaz returned to the edge of the arena where his team waited.
"We did it!" Summer exclaimed.
"Just bad luck on their part." Qrow stated.
"Qrow." Raven muttered.
"Please, that was all us." Topaz commented.
"And we're going all the way right?"
"Right." "Yeah." "Obviously." Topaz, Qrow, and Raven agreed, all wearing smirks.
