Chapitre 89: Kidnapped!
Onicent walked through the blocks till he reached the farm house, then sensing he was there he summoned his enegery to him and caused blocks of obsidian to form around him in a ring. He pushed upward causing to the blocks to rise around himself. Then they broke the surface, it was still nightfall. The nymphs were sleeping in their trees.
Onicent frowned slightly, he needed witnesses, but then he thought of how hard they would fight to protect the child buried under the house.
He felt a slight boil within himself, somewhere in the trees the nymph Bluette was hiding. He ignored this for the time being. He left the nether portal shaped ring where it had risen. He walked to the house and broke down the door with a swift action.
He walked through the house and down the stairs, there he came upon a solid wall. This was no problem for him.
"You thought," he muttered to himself, "my dear sister, that a flimsy wall could stop me." He shook his head and willed the wall to part.
Elsbeth had been sleeping in the grove, but when Onicent entered she began to stir from her sleep.
She raised her head and blinked confused. "Mom...?" she murmured.
Onicent chuckled slightly. He gave Elsbeth just enough time to look at him before he threw the potion Dio had made onto her. Elsbeth seemed to freeze for a moment and then collapse on the ground. Onicent walked to her side, but seeing her face some of his anger softened. She was his eldest child, though he'd never known her. She had a pretty face and he could see she resembled him.
"My poor little one," he muttered quietly, "perhaps in another time, if your mother had trusted me we would have been closer." He shook his head, some of his resolve for revenge faded. He didn't really wish to harm his own daughter. She seemed so gentle and fragile and innocent.
He gathered her slim form in his arms and headed for the wall again. He smashed the blocks and left them that way. The sun was just starting to rise.
Onicent grinned to himself slightly.
The nymphs were rising from their trees.
"Lady Elsbeth!" One cried. The cry spread through the nymphs as they beheld Onicent.
That made Onicent grin more as he saw Bluett and her sister. Who were huddled together with the rest. A couple drew stony swords from their belts. They didn't know who Maiguh was, but that didn't matter.
He decided he would have a bit of fun.
Some time later Onicent continued his walk toward home, he smiled as he held several stone swords in his inventory, though he knew he would have to dispose of them soon. He was careful to pass several villages, but not to confront anyone, which was easy seeing his family had a reputation.
Closer to home he slipped beneath the ground in order to avoid his own nymphs. He took Elsbeth under the castle and formed a room there with his powers. Carefully he placed her down, she would remain in this state for awhile longer.
When he came back into the castle he shouted, "Dio fetch me water."
