Chapitre 114: Section 113: Who's the Hunter?

The conflicts died down, the next moment we know there's no one downstairs bickering. No one is around, it looks like they already resolve their conflicts. Either that or they decided not to think about it anymore. Joel looked at me passively, he's giving me a gesture that he will wait for my reply about his confession.

My chest is throbbing when he's flashing me his angelic smile. It was perhaps the most phenomenal feeling I ever felt after my breakup with Ender. However, we've been dawdling for too long from our main goal. As long as Joel's parents are still here and won't cooperate, then we wouldn't be able to reach the scientist's house.

I looked at Joel worriedly, he knows what I'm worried about and told me that he will try to talk to his parents about it. 

"To be honest" I gritted my teeth. "Is it alright for us to play detective like this?".
