Chapitre 49: CHAPTER 36 - THE GUARDIAN SWORDS
"Let me tell you"
"Enormous power come with huge responsibility"
"Yet people misused their powers to destroy each other"

They heard the words, whispered at them and slowly revealed the miracle they wanted to see. The spear has become the original form, the sword, shining from the sacred tree at them.
The sakura petals fall, adding the reaction of anticipation for the girls. Light comes out of the sword, reaches the sky and covers it. The darkness surrounding the region is transformed into the miracle of hope.
"The Guardian Swords"
Several swords fell from the sky, circling the Sakura Empire with the element of lightning. Then the swords unleashed their abilities, creating a barrier sufficiently strong to protect the Sakura Empire.
When the light shines, Azur Lane, seeing the light from far away, also gets involved.
"The light!", Wales shouted. There is no mistake, this is definitely being done by the commander. Where is this light coming from? "
"Obviously, it's from the Sakura Empire," Belfast replied calmly until she realised something abnormal suddenly show up.
They can hear the sound of a loud noise striking their ears. They look out of the window at once and unexpectedly see meteors in the sky.
Four meteors fell from the sky, passing Azur Lane in the distance. The girls outside can see the meteors now, wondering about the abnormal situation.
"What was that?", asked Cleveland. "Is that meteors fallen from the sky?"
"Belfast, can you remind me the sign that commander talking about?", asked Wales for confirmation.
"The sky! That the sign that master talking about!", answered Belfast.
"I don't our commander can do that", said Hood. "Well, we knew what our next step now."
"Order all fleet to prepare", said Wales. "We will have our revenge against Orochi."

Back to the Sakura Empire, as everyone sees the light unleashed by the sword towards the sky, followed by several swords falling down. Then the calm breezes from the sword passed through the girls.
As they saw the lightning barrier grow bigger and bigger, big enough to cover the Sakura Empire, they started to feel calm.
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
They saw them in their own eyes, and that eyes never lied to them. The truth behind bold action and the kindness of the enemy commander. They never thought that the enemy they hate would save them from disaster, nor did they expect it.
Their feelings and views towards Kay are drastically changing. No one's ever going to think Kay's tricking them, no one's going to dare to have that accusation in their minds.

BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
The serpent is hitting the barrier several times, using its own body and hits while hoping the barrier collapse. However, it's remain futile as the barrier is strong as diamond.
The serpent becomes furious, it's too close to consume its victims only to block by a single human.
BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!
ROARSS!!!
The serpent let out a loud roar, fuming at Sakura Empire. It's continuously attacks the barrier until some of its head broke.
CRACK!!
ROARS!!
Zuikaku, Takao, Shoukaku and Takao are looking at Kay that still sleeping. Yet, he still manages to perform his duty, protecting them from the cell. His hand slowly activates the lightning element and flowing toward the sword at the sacred tree.
Zuikaku hold Kay's hand, grabbing tightly. With tears slowly fallen from her eyes, she is whispering at him.
"Thank you...thank you, Kay", whispered Zuikaku. "Thank you for this miracle. Even though most of us despise at you...you still protecting us. Even though we just become your burden...you still save us."
"I want to know that I'm very grateful for what you have done."
"He still sleeping, Zuikaku", said Prinz Eugen. "He probably wouldn't hear us but I will said, he did the impossible thing that nobody can achieve."
"Thank you, shikikan", said Shoukaku. "I knew, following you are the right choice and I will accept your trust."
The sword still there at the sacred tree, continuously unleashed the light.
"What's going on right now?", asked Hyuuga, surprised and confused. "Is that human saving us?"
"He saved us", said Atago while looking at Kay. "The barrier is obviously from him and we knew because we saw it. There are no need for us to ignore it anymore."
"But, why? He has no reason?", asked Ise. "We are his enemies!"
"We will discuss about that later", said Nagato, breaking the argument. "What we knew, this human saved us from that creature. Although, we still trapping here with no way out."
ROARS!!!
"He already planned this far", said Nagato. "The vision we saw is definitely from him. He knew this will eventually happen and he came prepared."
"We still need to kill that creature."
"There is no reason for us to kill that creature", said Zuikaku, making Nagato surprised and confused.
"Your reason, Zuikaku?", asked Nagato.
"It's not our responsibilities, Nagato-sama", answered Zuikaku while holding Kay's hand. "We have to believe him, after what he had done to us. We have trust him, since he is the only one can kill that creature."
"Are you sure it's fine, Zuikaku?", asked Prinz Eugen. "We already become his burden and I afraid we will make him even worst."
"It's fine", said Zuikaku. "You already believe in him, right?"
"Yes, of course", said Prinz Eugen. "I believe in him."
"Only he can save us"
ROARS!!
BANG...BANG...BANG...
The serpent refuses to give up and keeps hitting the barrier with all its strength, little by little the barrier cracks a bit.
"The barrier can't hold it that long", said Nagato. "You still trust him? You still believe with him?"
Nagato looks at Zuikaku, deeming an answer from her.
"Yes, I already believe with him from the first moment I met him", said Zuikaku.
"He is the only one can kill that creature."

CRACK...

ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
ROARS!!
A dragon suddenly coming out from Kay, slowly enlarges its body and starting to roar at that serpent. The dragon surrounds the Sakura Empire, circling the area.
"A dragon!!", shouted Takao. "Are you kidding me!! At this time I don't become surprised anymore."
The dragon roars at the cell, starting to intimidate it, throwing the pressure. Its eyes seems furious and ready to attack the creature in front of it.
"That dragon...but it can be", said Nagato as she can't believe what she saw.
"Dragonoire..."
ROARS!!
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
Dragonoire unleashes its lightning toward the serpent, relentless attacking it. The lightnings strike the serpent several times, making its weaker. Not going to just standing still, the serpent immediately roars at Dragonoire and starting to unleash its beam.
Dragonoire lets out the lightning breath from its mouth, countering the beam. The beam and the lightning breath pushing each other and the result depends on their own strength. However, the winner is very obviously as Dragonoire's breath easily overcome the beam.
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
ROARS!!
The serpent roars in agony as the breath is too strong, almost destroy its own body. The regeneration took place but Dragonoire immediately went to the serpent and bites its head, destroying it.
The serpent wrapped its body at Dragonoire, only to be blown down by the lightning.
ZAPP...ZAPP...ZAPP...
Upon seeing the serpent is getting weaker, Dragonoire unleashes its final attack, the lightning breath towards the serpent.

"Thank you, Kay", said Zuikaku while embracing him.
The serpent manages to run away before Dragonoire tries to end its life. With that injuries, the serpent probably wouldn't bother Sakura Empire for a while.
"Wait...is that dragon coming toward us?", asked Takao.
They immediately look at the dragon after realizing that the dragon suddenly coming toward them. The dragon kinda shrunk, at least more smaller than before.
"It's coming toward us", said Nagato.
Draganoire slowly flying toward Sakura Empire and landing around the sacred tree. It looks at the girls before closing its eyes.
Nagato slowly approaching Dragonoire, even though she being held by Kawakaze that against the idea. Nagato shook her head and telling her that she will be fine.
"It's very nice to see you again, Dragonoire", said Nagato while rubbing it. "I have been waiting for you to return home, to Sakura Empire."
"For some reason, you're the only one I can remember. I may don't remember the guardian of Sakura Empire anymore but I at least have the memories with you."
"Yet, I don't understand. Is that mean, Kay is the guardian? But why he seems forget about us? In fact, in his eyes, he never met and has the memories with us?"
Tears fell from Nagato's eyes. She doesn't understand anymore and she wants the answer from Dragonoire.
The first meeting with Kay is very horrible, making most of the Sakura Empire hate him. Some of them even want to kill him but now, it's completely different.
"Nagato-sama", said Kawakaze, trying to console her.
"I don't understand anymore", said Nagato. "Please answers me, Dragonoire!"

"Innocent children, there is no need to cry anymore", said Dragonoire. "The miracle is upon you, now treasure it."
Dragonoire looks at Nagato, staring at her eyes.
"Is that human is really our guardian?", asked Nagato. "And even its true, why he forgets about us?"
Dragonoire stares at Nagato for a moment, until it's starting to speak.
"Either he's your guardian or not is not your current concern, little one", said Dragonoire, after having some thought. "However, the memories between you and his are indeed true. Even though, only one side has that memories."
"Then, what about that creature?", asked Nagato. "It's still alive and it will attacks us again in future."
"Innocent children, the ordeal is not upon you and none of you should witness it", said Dragonoire. "The one who hold the responsible will fulfill the duty."
"We can't just let that human do it", said Nagato. "Not with his condition."
"Then, I'm strong enough to protect this land, innocent children", said Dragonoire.
"Then, what should we do?", asked Nagato.
"Finish what you have done, innocent children", said Dragonoire. "The one who become the main source for your problem."
"The main...Orochi!!", shouted Nagato as she thought before its words.
Nagato immediately gives the order for these girls to be prepared. There is still a problem that circling in their minds. The main source of the problem, the origin of their betrayal against Azur Lane none other than Orochi.
"We will find Kaga and Akagi, then destroy Orochi completely", said Nagato. "Please watch us, guardian of Sakura Empire."
Dragonoire looks at Kay that still sleeping before closing its eyes. It's laying around the sacred tree, taking a rest.
Sakura Empire manages to survive and the girls already knew their next step. They will find Kaga and Akagi.
"Don't worry, Kay", said Zuikaku. "We will trying to reduce your burden."
"Just stay sleep Kay", said Prinz Eugen while giving him a little smooch. "We will handle it by ourself."
