The clans could not immaturely attack because while they had many clans on their disposal right now they were extremely disorganized and they did not gather all their power yet as many powerful elders were in seclusion and they still needed to make plans to guarantee that they will win as they didn't even have an organized trained army or professional general to lead them.
Suffice it to say the great alliance did not underestimate the Life death hall as It did not become the overlord of the central region by being weak.
