The ER was again crowded with new patients. There is an elementary school whose students experienced mass vomiting as a result of food poisoning during a group meal organized by the school.
The department became very noisy with the groaning and crying of the young children.
Winda and several colleagues treated their patients with swift and correct until two hours later all the patients were treated. Some of them have been sent to the ward for recovery, some have been allowed to go home because they are not too bad and can be cared for at home.
The day was quite tiring for the medical staff in the ward. They were gathered at the nurse station while filling out some reports before the end of the morning shift.
"Come on, cheer up, later in the afternoon we will go for a vacation," said Dirga, encouraging his tired colleagues.
