She got into the car and it only halted in front of her house, she got out and walked inside without knowing what was waiting for her inside, her bodyguard left after dropping her.
Sara was still smiling brightly, she went inside and turned on the lights, and her eyes went towards the figure sitting on the sofa in front of her. The smile on her face went away, a deep frown showed up.
"What are you doing here?" She questioned him.
"Why? Aren't you happy seeing me?" He smirked and got up and walked closer to her. Sara didn't reply and averted her eyes away from him. He scoffed seeing her ignoring his gaze.
"Did you forget who you belong to?" His pitch became louder and scary. He slammed both of her arms on the door by his hands.
Sara winced in fear listening to his words. She tried to stay calm but she was trembling in fear.
"Answer me!!" He shrieked at her face and made her flinch in fear. Her lips trembled as she tried to reply to him. Her voice didn't come out, she was too scared.
Seeing her acting weak, and scared made him more furious. He grabbed her neck; about to choke her to death.
"Do you know what I despise the most?" He whispered in a cold voice sending chills down her spines.
He looked back into her eyes," When my most beloved belonging becomes useless." His words cold and ruthless, and his eyes look dead. He squeezed her neck tightly, making her struggle. He was ruthless and cold, Sara was trying her best to survive, but he was a monster without empathy. Seeing her struggle made him happy.

"No!" Sara shrieked out, sitting up straight. She was palpitating, as cold beads sweats formed on her forehead. She looked around, it was not her old house. It was just a nightmare.
She saw her daughter sleeping soundly beside her, she caressed her head lightly. A small sad smile appeared on her lips seeing her daughter.
"I'm sorry. Mama couldn't protect you two." Sara kissed her temple, as a sob left out of her mouth.
She got out of bed and went out to the balcony. She tried to stop her cry so her daughter doesn't wake up.
She sat down on the cold floor and looked up at the sky. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Mom. Dad. Grandpa. I miss you all." She said looking up at the sky, smiling.
Before she had them to protect her but now she was all alone, crying alone on the balcony. She tried to move her hand but it was painful, her ribs were painful. But instead of crying, she snickered, laughing out loud. If someone sees her like that they will think she was really happy. But was she.
She started coughing vigorously, spitting out some blood on the floor. Seeing the blood, she didn't know whether to laugh or cry in her life.
Her wounds were still untreated, not that she had any intention to treat them. She laid on the floor, and looked at the sky, sighing out.
"Karma is real." She uttered inside her mouth, scoffing on her faith. She was afraid of losing her eyes. Still afraid to see his face and more afraid if she sees Michael's face. His eyes are full of disgust towards her.
"Didn't you promise you will always by my side?" A soft sob left from her mouth, tears rolled down her cheeks.
She sat up straight, somehow she can't stop herself from crying out. No matter how hard she tries to act strong she still can't. She loves him too much, so much that it ends up hurting both of them.
She has to let go of her selfish love or she will just hurt him. That year she decided to let go of him, but even after so many years, why can't she still can't let go of him from her heart.
If it was not for her child, she would have never come back to him, when she came she already decided to not love him but why can't she do it. She becomes greedy when he sees him. If only she was from a normal family, she could have been with him.
"Don't forget, why you came here? You can't be selfish and pull him in this black hole with you." She made herself remember, why she was back. After getting what she wants, she has to leave. She has to leave far away from him. So far that he can never find out.
"Mama," hearing Amy's cry she snapped out of her thoughts and wiped off the tears, before getting up and going in.
She went inside and saw her daughter still asleep. She can't stop herself from smiling, she must have called her to sleep. She went close to her and put on the blanket over her before going downstairs.
She turned on the lights, it was still the same. Before, she used to see his face, smiling at her. But now only stillness prevails. She walked to the dining table and took out some pills from the first aid box and took it with some water. And sat down on the sofa.
"Missing me?" A voice echoed in the room, making her gaze shift towards the voice.
