Present day in XXXX University.
A Large crowd of students are waiting near the gate entrance, flowers and gift in hand all for the Most popular student in the University, Mr. Bright Vachirawit.
His popularity sky rocketed since freshman years with a perfect body and face plus his family is part share holder of the University he became an instant target and dream guy for all genders alike.
That includes me, Mr. Win Metawin.
Don't get me wrong I'm not one of his loyal fan. I'm not even lining up near the gate like everyone else. Yes, He's handsome and privileged but that's not the reason why I admire him.
Bright is a man with principles. Bright hates seeing someone being bullied no matter what status/gender you have if he caught you bullying he will fight you or worst you will expelled from school.
He may be rich and perfect but he remains simple. He doesn't use his family's status to gain power instead uses it for good.
I want that. Being powerless and weak as I am. Someday I want to be able to stand up for myself and be like him.
During middle school I've been bullied everyday, no one to run or help me I thanked the day I left that hell place. This is haven for me.
"Oh my! He's here!"
"Waah. P'Bright my prince!"
"Quickly grab your gifts! Let's give it to him before the teachers confiscate it!".
Like bees in a beehive they swarm to him as soon as he steps inside the school gate. Sigh. This man, with his perfectly ironed uniform, handsome face, a bad boy aura and deathly smile is currently accepting gifts left and right.
If you give him gifts he will accept it with a small smile and say "thank you". Sadly, to the countless of confession he gets the only answer is "Sorry". That doesn't stop everyone from loving him though coz he rejects people gently.
Presently, I'm witnessing the scene inside the 3rd floor window of our English class. The teacher was lazy and told us to self study. Like? Who would? Lol. All of my classmates are either one of the bees or beside me screaming their lungs out.
"Jealous? Why don't you give him gifts also?". This is Fong by the way, my nosy friend who loves to tease me all the time. Mid-teir appearance, good family background, a daydreamer and also a womanizer.
You heard me? A womanizer. Go figure.
"Say it one more time Ai Fong let's see if you have answers for our test later."
Fong thinks I like Bright in "that" way. You know, wanting us to be together?
"Come on. He's not picky. Look! He accepts gift from men also."
"I'm not blind. I can see that. Ai Fong I don't like him that way how many times would I tell you this?".
"What's the difference? Like is like, whether you idolize him or like him it's still the same."
He scoots closer to me since we're seatmates in English class. This conversation is in loop i want to jab him into realization.
"He's my idol and you know why right? Stop daydreaming Fong." I lightly flick his head. Next time I'll do it harder.
In case you're curious (i know you are) yes, we're now 2nd year students this year. The semester just started.
Everyone isn't looking forward to anything new at all including me.
And No, me and him are not in the same class in case you wanted to know. Why? Because he's in a different class than us.
The University has a unique class system. It's divided into two, Regular and gifted or as we call it "the normal class" and "the gods class". I'm guessing you imagined the difference by now? Yes?
No explanation needed here. Regular class is, of course, those "regular" students with nothing but blood, sweat & tears to survive and the gifted, people who are loved by god himself i.e. the high/middle teir society, rich, geniuses, influential, etc..
Surprise, surprise! Guess where he belongs?
Those students i mentioned earlier as bees belong to mine, tadah!! Regular class. The only time they can approach Prince himself (i meant Bright) are:
1. Recess time/lunch break. Thank god for small mercies we have one common University cafeteria. We are on equal grounds when it comes to food. Plus, some food are affordable also tasty.
2. Early in the morning or right before all classes starts. Basically why they patiently wait for him to arrive in front of the school gate. Gifted have separate buildings and classroom from the regulars.
Yes. That's how big this University is. It's practically a country or city. Lol.
3. During club/school activities. The club where he's in are all full, no recruitment at the moment. Poor freshmens their hearts will be broken for sure. Of course you can cheer for him for school activities. Lol.
4. Lastly, when Bright himself visits or roam around outside his palace a.k.a the Gifted School building to mingle with mortals. Together with his gang in shining school uniform lazily walking the school grounds flashing million dollar smiles to each & everyone.
Sigh. Just like that, the bell rang, the swarm of bees despersed, the Prince went into his castle and I...
I'm just bored.
