Chapitre 30: Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan
In a room at the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda Clan's state stood a man over a desk. The man had short straight black hair and a young face. He was wearing an elegant white suit that gave him a calm and scholarly appearance.
Over the desk, mountains of papers accumulated, all of them stating different things, from reports to studies, counts... He was surfing over the papers attentively reading them.
"It seems that they are planning something." The man said frowning a little.
"Will we return to that chaotic times?" Next to the man, an old man with silver-white long hair stood guarding him. He had a simple and unadorned appearance with his eyes half-closed, but a sharp aura could be able to be sensed around him.
"It seems so. We will need to prepare to fight again" The man said sighing. It seemed that the peace days were limited and in the near future, war will again start.
"Tock. Tock!" Someone knocked the door, gaining both men's attention.
"You can enter" The black-haired man told.
Opening the door, a man wearing a golden uniform with a pagoda image over his shoulder entered the room. He bowed politely to the other two men "Headmaster Ning, elder Chen. We had received some unexpected guests." The two men were the highest-ranking member of the clan, the head Ning Fengzhi and the elder and titled douluo named Sword, Chen Xin.
"Who are they?" Fengzhi asked without his sight leaving his papers.
"They are three youngsters, two girls and a boy that shouldn't be over 16, but one of them" He said looked towards Chen Xin "had presented herself as your granddaughter, elder Chen. And she requested to meet you."
Chen Xin frowned listening to it. It wasn't so rare for people making up connections, lying about their origins, trying to benefit for it. But it was rarer for them to even dare to come to the clan demanding this.
"Why did you even inform us?" Chen Xin said a little upset "You should have directly thrown them away. As you all know, I don't have any son or daughter, and even less a granddaughter."

Over a meeting room, Meijing, Biyun and Haotian were sat over a comfortable sofa while waiting. Over a table, some beverages and pastries were prepared for them.
"Clank!" After waiting for 10 minutes, finally, the door opened, Fenzhi entering the room followed by Chen Xin. Fengzhi had a kind and calm aura while Chen Xin had an imposing one.
Haotian's group stood up receiving them. They could feel a strange feeling over their bodies under the gaze of such powerful spirit masters that were analyzing them. The pressure that they gave wasn't any joke.
"I am the head of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Ning Fengzhi. And as you should know" Fengzhi said the last part with a certain dark tone "he is an elder of our clan, the Sword Douluo, Chen Xin." Fengzhi presented.
"It is an honor to meet you." Meijing was the first one to present herself with a light courtesy "I am Chen Meijing."
"I am Hu Haotian" "I am Ma Biyun" The other two present themselves.
'They shouldn't be more than 16 years old and they are high-level spirit elders. They are quite the genius' Fengzhi thought seeing them.
Chen Xin stepped forward, standing in front of Meijing "So you are my so-called granddaughter?" He said lifting an eyebrow as he looked at Meijing.
"Boom!" Cold killing intent exploded over Chen Xin directly crashing towards Haotian's group, especially towards Meijing.
"Hiii!" Receiving the killing intent, Biyun found it unbearable, her legs losing their strength and she falling to the ground.
"CH!" Haotian clenched his teeth and resisted the strong killing intent. It was so strong that a light mishap would be enough to fall out like Biyun.
However, Meijing who was receiving more directly the killing intent remained still. Her ruby eyes glinted with a cold light.

"So about your objective?" Fengzhi was rather curious about the youths in front of him, but rather than ask about them it would be more insightful to learn their intention and reasonings first.
"Okay. I will directly go to the point" Haotian thought that he would need to go around the bushes, but it should be better like this "We want the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan's protection. For it, we want to join your clan."
"Protection, eh?" Fengzhi said thoughtfully "Rather than joining our clan for resources and fame, you want our protection. Meaning that you are in danger, someone chasing after you." He deducted.
