"I think that statue is following us," Reya mumbled softly and stepped back this time the statue was side directly facing them with its head lowered. Its blank carved eyed peering directly in their direction. Even its hands were placed differently. The right hand was near its hip where there was a huge sword and its left hand held out in their direction.

"Let's get out of here," Jaiye shouted and rushed them both. Like frantic pigs, they ran through the kelp forest. Not bothering if the weed got tangled or not, they literally tore through it.

After running for a while, Haily stopped, panting, "Do you think we are further away?" she stuttered.

"I think so, at least. But we have to leave this kelp forest as fast as possible," Reya panted as well. The duvet on them had already been thrown away in their haste. Now the chilling cold water froze her skin. Shivering softly, she moved closer to her friends. "Darn it, this task is going badly, very badly."
