DAMON'S POV

"So, please enter my leave in the absence log. I wouldn't be able to supervise today. Call for Gabriel in my place."

"But isn't he a junio-"

"Just call him in my place, would you? I have some important business to take care of today and I don't really wanna argue about this right now."

I heard him sigh on the call and I cut the line. I couldn't bear with all this right now. I had a business that was much more important than this. I put on my brown overcoat and left my cloud. 

I was visiting Azrail's cloud for the first time in years. And when I say years, I mean, at least fifty years. 

My heart, or what I would call a non-existent figure of speech for angels, was already going haywire from what I had seen down there. Xavier's anxiety attacks had been absolutely harmless till now. But what I saw yesterday, wasn't harmless in any words.
