Back up for a second. Did she just refer to Dili as baby? That word ran continuously in my head like a broken recorder. Who on Earth was this girl calling baby? Cause it sure as hell can't be my fiancée.

Dili looked at me with a panicky expression. It looked like he was trying to pass a message across to me. I rested my chin on my hand and looked at the two of them cooley. I didn't want to jump into any unnecessary conclusion so I decided to play it calm.

"Adenike, I didn't know you were back in Nigeria" Anyone could note the shock and confusion in his voice.
