Concubine Ah Lam thought of phoning Ying Yue once she reached outside but at the last moment, she thought otherwise. She heads back to the dark pavilion before making the call. Meanwhile, at the MPS Police Station, Ying Yue was impatiently waiting for news from Concubine Ah Lam.
" Sister, where are you lost? Is everything okay?" Ying Jie appeared, sitting beside me.
" Oh, it's you! How's work going for you, big brother?" I said, lost in my thoughts.
" You're not your usual self, Ying Yue! Could it be that you haven't got any news from the young prince as of yet?" He interrogatively inquired.
" No! I asked Concubine Ah Lam for help and she promised to lend me her assistance in discovering what exactly is wrong in the imperial palace but until now, I haven't heard anything from her".
Ying Yue tapped on Ying Yue's shoulder and told her: " She wouldn't have made fake promises if she didn't have the intention of landing you a hand, wouldn't you agree?"
Hello, readers and fans! How do you do?
There hasn't been any new chapter in two days and that's because I've been working on my other novels which are all back from their hiatus except for one.
There's a slight chance they won't be any additional chapter tomorrow as I'll be working on my remaining one.
Stay safe on this pandemic and Happy Reading!!!
