Lia stepped forward and with careful steps, she approached him. He seemed to be in dreamland seeing that he hadn't woken up yet. He was wearing his black yoga pants but topless, sleeping sideways at the edge, with his big brown to black wings widened backward, enough to occupy most parts of the bed.
After she tucked the thick dark purple velvet blanket up to his shoulders, she gently played with his messy jet black hair and stared at his face for a short while. She placed Aesop's steampunk necklace at the top of the bedside table. Its chain was broken, but she had decided to just ask someone to fix it the next day.
Lia realized that she had successfully taken out Aesop without any major problem, but would it be the same for her parents? Could she convince her grandfather to help her and leave D.M. Cadre, even though he's deeply involved in all of this?
What kind of house would you like to live in?
