Chapitre 110: Sister

You start to get closer to the kitchen and you can hear your sister's voice as she is talking to her dad. Because you do not have the best of relationship, you hope that she will accept Nick too. She was never shy to always let you know what she thinks about you and never had a scared hair on her head. If she did not like you, you would know it. It is not that you want her approval it will just make things better for Nick. Just before you enter the kitchen you turn to Nick.

"I do not want to scare you off but I need to tell you that my sister is a bit rough around the edges"

"Rough-around-the-edges? You are going to have to say more than that? Because that alone scares me"

He chuckles just a bit. You do not really know how to explain it to him as she has this subtle way of making you feel bad without "making you feel bad".

"All I can say is, just watch what you say around her. She has this way of turning it against you somewhere in the future"
