Chapitre 236: DESSERTS

As they drank the tea, Leilani pushed some of the handmade desserts to Arkien. There was a small smile on her face, "Here. Try some of them and tell me what you think."

Arkien nodded and pulled the treats close to him. The treats had the perfect amount of sugar in his opinion, although he had no idea what they were called. He gave her an appreciative smile after swallowing the first.

He washed it down with the bitter tea, and calmly placed his tea down. "The craft of Lady Leilani does not disappoint. However, I believe that you desire something from me, else I will have to find a way to repay you for the treats. How much?"

"I don't lack money." Leilani waved her hand, and gestured at the house, "All of this was earned by myself, and there is more than enough money left in reserve."

Arkien noticed the glint in her eyes after he had asked to give her money. "Then what, shall it be, Lady Leilani? If it is not money you desire, then it must be?"
