Chapitre 32: Not all endings need to be happy

Momentarily, I had forgotten about Shay's revelation. My mind was swimming with thoughts of Rafael and the kiss that we have shared.

To say the least, I was very elated.

However, the moment that we had to sign the papers, I was in for a surprise, and right that instant, everything that Shay and I had talked about came back to me.

I know that we might not have always seen each other eye to eye, but we never really said that we hated each other or had a grudge against the other.

And right that instant, I was perplexed. I didn't know how or what to feel. I was torn between bouncing with joy and being suspicious.

I don't know how she pulled it off. I have no idea what kind of trickery she had done. But she did.

It wasn't her name that was written on the papers. It was mine.

Avalyn. Avalyn Zephanie.

I made a mental note to figure out later why she had my own name written instead of hers.

What was the bigger game plan?
