"For a place named Sinners Field, this place is indeed awe-full" Sol.
Walking peacefully on this bright sunny day I begin to think that it is ironic, the place once barren, painted red by the blood of the Humans and Demons who perish here in battle, has turn into a place so beautiful and peaceful such as this.
The lushful green grass, the chirping melody of the birds in the sky, truly an irony I say.
"Williams, bring me the map I showed you"
Wiliams rustles his leather bag and pull out a map I took from one of the Adventurers I captured.
"Hmm, from the looks of this map, It seems that it will take us around around 6-7 hours walking on foot to Galan, or maybe less"
Hmm, I never have really try to read a map before, nor have I ever truly use one. But judging by how far distance is between Galan and Sinners Fields... It should more or less be that far.
"Ah right"
I look at my suit's right right side which has been torn open from the fight I had with that fourmi, leaving my skeletal figure exposed.
"I may need to change my clothes or something that will cover every ounce of my exposed skeletal body"
I grab williams leather bag and take out the robes that I took from the mages and wear it.
"OHO! It fits quite well!"
As I was about to continue my walk the ground begin to shake vigorously. I collapse and fall to the ground not knowing what is happening.
I look behind me to see the large cavern housing the entrance to the labryinth begin to shift from its place.
"Ahaha! That scared me for a second! Anyway then, GOOD BYE LABRYINTH!" I shouted happily as the cavern continues to shift away creating fissures behind it as it shifts.
I forgot it was this time of the year! Every 2 years the labryinth shifts itself and moves in a circle around Enriya!
I am fortunate enough to be able to leave on time!
With this I can assure myself that I... Would need to venture to the City of Order if I ever want to return to the labryinth, in which I never will!
Now then! Back to walking!
°°°
We continued walking for quite the long time. Unfortunately I do not how long I have been walking due to my pocket watch being broken after the battle against that Immortal Fourmi, truly I do not understand how he still lives!
I continue to mutter nonsense about the fourmi while walking until I see something brimming infront of me.
"AHAHA! THERE IT IS!! GALAN!" I shouted happily.
From the edges of the horizon a bustling city protected by walls can be seen brimming with dim light. Its walls are decorated with banners symbolizing the Kingdom's crest depicting There faces of the gods looking down.
We continue our walk towards the city for hours on end, until we are close enough to the city, I wouldn't a group of the city guards or Adventurers come and subjugate me on sight.
Adventurers and guards are forbidden to enter the Sinners Fields unless they have obtained permissions to do so. And because of that, as long as Williams and I stay within the Sinners Fields we are perfectly safe... Unless someone archer shoots at us from afar.
I openned my map and located the nearest river outside of the city. The location of the river is located within a forest right next to the city.
"That river should do" I said.
We make our way to the forest. On the way we encounter a few rare herbs that only grow within these fields which I took for later uses. As I enter the forest I remembered the time in which I used to study and experiment within my small laboratory.
Nostalgicaly good memories.
*Krsk*
As I was walking I hear rustling coming from the bush somewhere around me.
I grab a dagger I took from one of the meat bag Adventurers and a vial filled with dirt and sand, I do not want to shatter my limited supply of vials.
"Whispering screeching" Williams.
"I see! So it's Infront of me! Charge and kill whatever that is infront of me Williams!" I ordered.
Immediately, Williams rushes into the bush and thrash around the bush making the leaves and twigs sprung all over. He returns carrying what seems to be a dead and bloodied rabbit on his mouth.
"A rabbit? Well I suppose I could turn it into an undead, with its small size I suppose it might help me in picking some herbs" I said.
Just before I grabbed it of from his mouth Williams put its corpse inside his leather bag strapped on his back which dirtied everything inside, it seems I will have to teach him about cleanliness.
Continuing our walk through the forest, we finally reach the river located on the map.
The sight of the river itself is beautiful enough to make any bard or artist be amazed by its beauty and cleanliness. In addition to its beauty, this river is also used as the main source of water for the city.... But not for long.
"Williams, pour all of the blue vials into the river"
He rustles his bag and grab 6 blue vials labeled Solastemia on all of them. As he pour all of the Solastemia into the river, I realize something.
"No wait! Leave 1! We might need to make more!" I shouted.
Perhaps 10, no 26 more vials should be enough to affect the whole city.
If I want to make that much quickly then I would be needing more ingredients than what I already have now, this is quite... The predicament.
"The only reason I can only create that much was due to the fact that the ingredients needed do not truly grow within the labryinth. Because of that I resulted to kidnapping adventurers especially mages due to them usually carrying the herbs or mixtures I need to create them" I said.
I do not truly know if some of the ingredients I need to create Solastemia grows or even present here in this forest. Even if they do grow here, the amount needed would be... Quite... A lot.
"Hm?"
While I was welling around in my mind, Williams pull down the edge of my robes trying to give himself my attention. He grabs the corpse of the dead bloodied rabbit in his bag and presents it infront of me.
"A rabbit? What do you want me to do with a rab- OHO! WILLIAMS YOU GENIUS!!" I shouted happily.
°°°° ***
3 days later.
From inside the city walls, the once bright and happy faces of the citizens of Galan has become dull and sorrow. Their skin that were once bright and healthy has now turn pale white due to a sudden plague that has invested their city.
Coughs, Sneezes, And sudden faints became common when the plague started.
Both the Mages guild and Adventurers guild tried to help. The mages would start trying to create a new spell to cure the plaque whilst The Adventurers guild sends their adventurers to other major cities, hiring Alchemist and Mages to help.
However, due to the Adventures guild late decision to send their adventurers to gather help.... They have just worsen the situation by spreading the plague to every city the adventures have been to when they were searching for help, and thus... This was the start of The Pale Face Plague.
Rumors has it that the plague originated from the Vampires who live deep down below within The Abyssal Caverns, the land created by The Beast of Death, Null.
Some think that It was a Divine Punishment granted by their God of Laws Mal, however none of them have yet been proven true.

"Today my fellow undead sevants! We have finally taken over Galan!!!"
"Tomorrow! We will be welcoming our new servants to our amazing.... Family!!"
