Chapitre 203: Jerk!

"What is wrong?" Dan asked, sensing her annoyance.

"Can you believe this stupid, dumb, selfish, conceited jerk left me out here?!" Bella hissed and judging by her tone. Dan could tell she was close to tears.

He opened his mouth to cuss at Ian but paused when he remembered that he was Ian, and he had been just as bad as Ian until he met Bella. He was only feeling angry because it was Bella. If it had been another lady, he wouldn't have thought twice about it.

"Calm down. I will just go and see the King and explain the situation to him. Is there any shelter around you where you can stay away from view until I find a way to get you?" Dan asked, and Bella squinted her eyes as she looked around her.

"I don't know. But I think there are houses ahead of me, or perhaps market stalls," Bella said thoughtfully.

"Do you have any valuable possessions with you?" Dan asked.

"None that I know of, apart from the ring, if it counts," Bella said.
